Enrico Chieffi named as Senior Advisor to Nautor's Swan

Nautor's Swan announces an organizational change within the Group.

Mr Enrico Chieffi has been appointed Senior Advisor to the Nautor's Swan Group supporting Leonardo Ferragamo, Chairman, and Giovanni Pomati, CEO. Having performed various senior roles for Nautor spanning more than 20 years, Mr Chieffi joined just one year after the acquisition of Nautor's Swan by Leonardo Ferragamo and lately served as Group Vice President. Looking forward, Mr Chieffi will specifically contribute to the company strategy in business delopment, marketing and new product development, focusing especially on ClubSwan Yachts.

"Having placed Enrico for many years in a very close position in the identification and implementation of Nautor's Swan strategies has been a great experience in terms of dimension and depth and an important tribute to the evolution of the brand. This has been a unique and very special relationship for me personally as well as for the company and we shall all share it greatly. It is with deep significance that Enrico will take the senior advisory role at heart and his valued contribution will continue in Nautor" commented Leonardo Ferragamo.

Over the years Enrico has held several positions in senior management and together with Mr Ferragamo, he set important milestones in the history of the brand: the latest have been the ClubSwan Racing division, making the Finnish brand one of the few yards to have a dedicated circuit of regattas, managed by professional team. His latest achievement was the project leadership of the ClubSwan 125, conceived and built to be the fastest monohull in the world.

"To have Enrico as member of the team has been superb on so many levels" states Giovanni Pomati, CEO. "His expertise in the sailing world is a strong point for Nautor and we will keep on collaborating side by side for the multitude of activities we are working on. We wish him all the best for this new challenge, with the certainty he will achieve great results."

With an awe-inspiring career as a top Olympic sailor and 23 years of experience in building sailing yachts, Enrico is now ready to take on new challenges, remaining close to Nautor in this new position.

"It's a big change for me after 23 years" says Enrico Chieffi "I've been part of Nautor since the very beginning of Leonardo's ownership and I've seen this company evolving continuously. It's been an honour for me being part of this evolution and it will be an honour to keep on collaborating with Leonardo Ferragamo and Giovanni Pomati, for the future strategy of the company. It hasn't been a lighthearted decision but as a sportsman, I'm always looking for new challenges to test my abilities. Now I will prove myself in a completely different sector, with the aim of leading this new company, taking advantage of the experience and know-how I gained at Swan."
