A new breed of Cat

Excess is the new, award-winning catamaran series from Groupe Beneteau, that will thrill you with its blend of design and performance.

The spacious and exhilarating to sail, Excess 12, will soon be joined by the first of our Excess 11 to arrive in Sydney. She comes with the optional Pulse Taller Rig, which delivers increased sail area.

Our initial feedback has revealed that Excess is very popular with those monohull sailors who perhaps are farewelling their racing days - and are looking for a boat that will provide volume and space to entertain their family and friends, whilst still delivering the joy and sensation of sailing that is sadly missing from many of today's production multihulls.

The Beneteau First 27

A fun shorthanded day cruiser or exciting performance version club winning racer.

Designed for offshore racing by naval architect Sam Manuard, the First 27 has all the makings of a very capable and competitive boat.

She features a hard chine as far as the stem, vertical sides, a good beam on the waterline and twin rudders, the cockpit is spacious and comfortable and has two-foot chocks over the full length. With a manually operated hydraulic jack to lift the keel, the First 27 is easy to tow and with an outboard motor that swings up and down from its midships mount, she is easy to manoeuvre.

Most importantly, she is a delight to sail with a crew of 1-4, and in the cruiser version, is the ideal day sailor.

A big cruiser, offering a new balance of elegance, space and performance, the philosophy of the Oceanis 40.1 is to make sailing pleasurable for both skipper and crew. Launched in late 2020, already over 160 have been sold worldwide, with 6 sold locally in the last 12 months.

The strengths of this cruiser, studied in detail by the architect Marc Lombard and the Beneteau design office, are unrivalled space inside, a huge deck plan and the ability to clock up the miles when you are cruising.

Perfect for families, couples and experienced sailors alike, this versatile 12-metre cruiser is perfectly adaptable to fit the most demanding sailor's cruising requirements and satisfy their need for comfort and pleasure under sail.

The NEW Oceanis 30.1 is the perfect introduction to Beneteau's cruising range, with options to suit every type of sailor. This seagoing smart cruiser is small enough to transport by a trailer, but big enough to accommodate 6 adults in comfort.

Those looking for comfortable cruising will choose the twin steering wheels. Thrill-seekers will love the unique tiller on twin rudders.

For beginners or for shorthanded sailing, the self-tacking jib and the single winch will be perfect. If you're chasing performance, the NEW Oceanis 30.1 can be equipped with a large overlapping genoa and a furling code zero or an asymmetric spinnaker.
