Jeanneau Yachts 65: Elegance and performance for this flagship sailboat

by Jeanneau 22 Apr 2022 07:05 PDT

In a disrupted global market context, the excitement inspired by marine activities is very promising. The desire to get away, and the need to be around friends and family, have seen a revived passion for sailing, cruising, and day sailing. Because of this impulse, that of following aspirations, Jeanneau is winning over new sailors.

With the birth of a flagship for Jeanneau Yachts, and that of a much-anticipated model in the iconic Sun Odyssey line, Jeanneau demonstrates its expertise and savoir-faire in facing market trends.

Jeanneau Yachts: Embark on the Refined World of Cruising

After the launch of the Jeanneau Yachts 60 last summer, the world of Jeanneau Yachts now welcomes the new Jeanneau Yachts 65.

The exterior and interior layouts of this iconic range are enhanced by the latest in high-performance technology and the finest materials.

Jeanneau Yachts offer unprecedented comfort on board for owners pursuing their passion for the sea.

Each detail must meet the Jeanneau Yachts standard for excellence.

The Jeanneau Yachts 65

The flagship of Jeanneau Yachts is designed for those who truly love the sea, who wish to further expand their horizons, cultivating style, comfort, and space. Offering fine materials and a wide selection of options for personalisation on the interior as well as on deck, the Jeanneau Yachts 65 remains faithful to the Jeanneau spirit. Designed as seaworthy boats, offering exhilarating sensations, they are at once powerful and safe, featuring great autonomy for longer cruises and for meandering from anchorage to anchorage in exceptional comfort.

Where refinement and sensuality are integral parts in a wellbalanced, high-performance hull...

A yacht ''à la carte''

Designed by Philippe Briand, the hull of the Jeanneau Yachts 65 is resolutely classic, and features a clean, contemporary deck plan. This large sailboat is truly a distillation of technical savoir-faire by the Jeanneau shipyard, precursor in performance and well-being at sea. The Jeanneau Yachts 65 is entirely adaptable to its owner. To achieve this, Jeanneau chooses careful, artisanal construction and direct contact with the owners, enabling them to personalise their yachts...

Here is just one example: fans of high performance can choose the strong version, with a fixed attachment for the mainsheet, a cockpit that is very open to the sea, and high-performance rigging choices.

Owners who prefer comfort will have the option of a mainsail arch with a hard top, a self-tacking jib and an exterior galley.

Featuring various interior and exterior finishes, a wide selection of upholsteries and floorboards, two versions offering different layouts, and numerous options, the Jeanneau Yachts 65 also offers a hull and deck plan with rare fluidity, adaptable to all your cruising dreams.

Deck Plan: Omnipresent Attention to Detail

Efficiency, effectiveness, and an inviting atmosphere are watchwords on the deck of the Jeanneau Yachts 65. Ease of movement, access to equipment for ease of handling, storage, and comfort, whether at sea or at anchor, have been carefully considered down to the smallest details.

The aft transom, which transforms into an immense sundeck, allows access to the tender garage. A clever swim ladder descends from a true swim platform, the ideal place for experiencing all the joys of a sheltered anchorage!

Twin helms are located far aft, close to the winches, allowing space for an XXL cockpit. Forward of the two large storage lockers, the space is immense: two cockpit tables can be electrically lowered to transform the area into an enormous swim platform...

Another strong point, flow of movement is easy on the flush deck. With her walk-around sidedecks, entirely level deck, and exterior position of the standing rigging, movement from the aft platform to the bow is secure.

Interior Layouts: Life at Sea...in Gentle Harmony

Step aboard the Jeanneau Yachts 65, and you will enter spacious living areas, subtly combining well-being and security, refinement and relaxation, with an incomparable view of the sea. The twelve deck hatches, complemented by an additional hatch in the sail locker / skipper's cabin, afford a level of light and ventilation that is unique aboard a monohull.

The owner has the choice: three cabins with forward owner's cabin or three cabins with aft owner's cabin, and the possibility for each of these versions to make a lateral cabin into a walk-in closet or additional berth.

The woodwork in teak or white oak, both open-pore, are matched with a choice of floorboards and a wide selection of leather upholsteries: each owner can define their own environment.

Subtle luxury is equally present in the detail, but never takes the place of comfort at sea: with a U-shaped galley, fiddles, multiple storage compartments, cabinet closures, handrails...

In the saloon, the layout is optimal: the starboard table and U-shaped bench seating can accommodate eight people, the port-side sofa offers a corner for relaxation and reading, close to the chart table, which is designed to be used as a desk while cruising.

The Jeanneau Yachts 65 is an owner's boat, with classic forms and a clean, contemporary deck plan. Featuring an elegant hull and refinement in every detail, designed for peaceful, long-distance cruising, this newest addition to the Jeanneau Yachts line will go even further than her predecessors in semi-custom construction.

And what if your dream of cruising aboard a 20-metre yacht, that is both accessible and adapted to suit you, becomes a reality?
