The latest report on cruiser, water sport, fishing boat and trailer sales trends, part of the National Marine Manufacturers Association's (NMMA) U.S. Recreational Boating Statistical Abstract, is now available for member download.

The report examines retail unit sales for each category and by application. In 2024, there were more than 238,000 new powerboats sold. In the water sports category, personal watercraft led with 70,704 units, with three-passenger models at the top, while inboard wake sport boats added 8,867 units.

The Boat and Engine Exports and Imports section of NMMA's U.S. Recreational Boating Statistical Abstract is also available for member download, with a comprehensive look at marine trade flows and shifts in global demand for American-made products. The 2024 report examines recent and historical trade data on the different categories of recreational boats and marine engines imported to and exported from the U.S.

The International BoatBuilders' Exhibition and Conference (IBEX), North America's premier technical trade event for the recreational marine industry, announced the esteemed list of judges for the 22nd IBEX Innovation Awards Program. Managed by the NMMA and independently judged by Boating Writers International (BWI), this year's program marks the largest to date, with more than 110 products entered. Product entries can be reviewed along Innovation Way, located on the second-floor rotunda throughout the days of the Show.
