Brunswick introduces TotalCare initiative - MarineBusinessWorld North America newsletter

TotalCare was launched this week, an exclusionary protection program designed to deliver maximum coverage, simplified pricing, and added coverage benefits for new boat owners across the marine industry, from Brunswick Product Protection Corporation, a business of Brunswick Corporation (NYSE:BC).

Designed for the way today's boaters buy and boat, TotalCare is Brunswick's most comprehensive protection offering to date, providing true "bow-to-stern" coverage that safeguards nearly all boat and engine components. The program is available across a wide spectrum of new powerboats, from entry-level models to luxury yachts.

Registration is now open for the International BoatBuilders' Exhibition and Conference (IBEX), North America's premier technical trade event for the recreational marine industry, returning to the Tampa Convention Center October 6-8. This is the final October edition of IBEX before the Show transitions to December dates in 2027, and will introduce new experiences, expanded educational programming, and enhanced opportunities for marine professionals.

LCI Industries (NYSE: LCII), a leading supplier of engineered components to the recreation and transportation markets, inform us that Jason Lippert has announced his retirement and has stepped down as the Company's President and CEO and as a member of the Board of Directors after 32 years in the business. The Dania Beach location will offer recreational boats, yacht tenders, watersports products, marine accessories, rentals, and electric marine products.

B&G, a global leader in marine electronics and navigation systems, has partnered with Ocean Safety to bring to market a breakthrough in man-overboard response technology: the Jon Buoy Smart Release, the first ever Ocean Safety product to integrate directly with a vessel's navigation system. This represents a major leap forward in automated life-saving equipment. For the first time, activation of the MOB function is available on all B&G chartplotters.

From June 6-14, anglers and boaters across the country are celebrating National Fishing and Boating Week. More than 57 million anglers take to the water each year, generating $230 billion in economic output and supporting 1.1 million jobs. New this year as part of the celebration, the American Sportfishing Association launched the Million Pound Challenge, an industry-wide effort to clean up 1 million pounds of trash on rivers, lakes and beaches to improve our nation's fisheries.
