East Down Yacht Club has extensive facilities for both cruising and racing. It is located on the western shores of Strangford Lough, Co Down, Northern Ireland.

The yacht club is at the end of a private lane and usually there is no signposting hence a map may prove useful.

The Club is situated on a 9-acre site, which includes a modern clubhouse, car parking, a boat-park, caravan and camping park, pontoons and slipways.

We are pleased to announce that in 2002 the club was awarded Royal Yachting Association/Volvo Champion Club status. We regularly organise training courses involving full RYA certificated instructors and examiners. Join the RYA through East Down Yacht Club
