This weekend, June 13th and 14th the Byte Inland Championship take place at Cardiff Yacht Club as part of the Cardiff annual regatta, Bytes however will have a separate start.

This will be the fourth time that Bytes have sailed on Cardiff Bay which has fresh water behind the barrage and no giant waves, but very much sea type breezes. Camping is free and food and beer are cheap, all in all a great venue. Racing of course will be as fierce as usual with these highly technical little boats surprising many with their sparkling performance.

So, get your Byte down to Cardiff or if there is a boat sitting in your dinghy park tap the owner on the shoulder and remind him, or her. Remember half the Byte fleet are female. Who knows it could be the start of an inter-fleet romance!
