Boston Whaler 420 Outrage earns 2018 Motor Boat Award in prestigious Superboats category

Continuing its record of award-winning success, the Boston Whaler 420 Outrage has been named the Superboats winner in the 2018 Motor Boat Awards. The honour was presented to Whaler representatives during a dinner hosted by the Time, Inc. (UK) magazine group on Wednesday, January 10 at the Rosewood Hotel in London.

"We're proud to receive this honour from the judges at Motor Boat & Yachting," said Boston Whaler President Nick Stickler. "Since its debut, the 420 Outrage has continued to earn recognition for its outstanding design, performance and finish level. It's very gratifying to be recognized in this year's Motor Boat Awards, and I extend my congratulations to the entire team responsible for the boat's development and production."

Among the reasons cited by Motor Boat & Yachting for choosing the 420 Outrage were its phenomenal ride quality and high build standards. According to the judges' official statement: "This might just be the most capable boat in this year's awards. Built to the highest standards and blessed with phenomenal performance, handling and practical detailing, it is the ultimate version of the 'Unsinkable Legend.'"

Previous awards earned by the 420 Outrage include being named Boating magazine's 2016 Boat of the Year and chosen as one of a select few nominees for the 2016 European Powerboat of the Year.
