Howard had a strategy to achieve within a three-year term, and has left having done so within two and a half years.

President Alan Blake said, "The Board would like to thank Howard for his leadership of the BIA through this important phase, to create a strong and focused Association, and we wish him well in his next endeavours".

The BIA staff that work with the management team remains the same.
