Sea-Fire Marine, global leader in fire detection and suppression systems for recreational, commercial and naval vessels, announced it has recertified to ISO 9001:2015 standards. This comes on the heels of the company relocating its North American corporate headquarters into a state-of-the-art 30,000 sq. ft. manufacturing space.

The new 2015 ISO standard retains the same core values of a sound quality management system (QMS) outlined in ISO 9001:2008, while adding a focus on risk assessment. A certified audit confirmed Sea-Fire's successful upgrade.

A global hallmark of excellence, ISO certification demonstrates a commitment to implementing quality management principles, a customer focus, applying a process approach to systems and continual improvement. This dedication opens markets unavailable to manufacturers without the credentials, such as government agencies and NGOs.

"ISO certification provides our customers the assurance that Sea-Fire is focused on performing at the highest levels of quality and efficiency," said Ernie Ellis, Sea-Fire Marine president. "It recognizes our investment in our products and solidifies our dedication to protecting people and property at sea."
