NeilPryde Sailing’s Elite Firewire 1mm wetsuit: the ultimate in temperature control

by Marina Johnson 15 May 2019 07:30 PDT

NeilPryde Sailing is proud to introduce the new Neil Pryde Firewire 1mm wetsuit, whose super-stretchy comfort and heat control fabric is a result of the latest in neoprene technology developed by the iconic watersports company.

The Firewire 1mm, like Firewire's thicker 3mm and 5mm models, uses Apex Ultrastretch Limestone-based neoprene to maintain core body temperature whilst at the same time the Fastdry Polyprop dry fleece liner wicks moisture away from the body keeping you dry and comfortable.

As well as the advanced fabric properties, the design of the Firewire 1mm features protection for key areas including Armotex butt protection and flatlock seams so there's no abrasion.

The Firewire 1mm longjohn is available in men's light grey and women's light grey/plum and is complemented with the option of a stylish Firewire 1mm top. The Firewire 1mm is available in a full range of men's, women's and junior sizes.

Both the long john and top can be mixed and matched with NeilPryde Sailing's other clothing and accessories and can be worn with the Elite Hiker padded hiking system as well.

The Firewire 1mm is ideal for those warmer days where temperature control is most important. The result is you use less energy regulating your temperature, giving you more focus on speed.

NeilPryde Sailing is a UK company which has developed from the iconic NeilPryde brand, long the favourite of windsurfers, and has used decades of experience to develop some of the best active sailing clothing available. NeilPryde Sailing is part of Alliance Marine Group. The NeilPryde Sailing range is available in outlets across the UK.
