Rob Brown, a legend of Australian sailing and a trimmer on the crew of Australia II in the 1983 America's Cup is leading a tour centred around the 2021 America's Cup in Auckland.
The tour aboard what Brown calls a "luxury boutique cruise ship" started in Christchurch and ends in Auckland with two stopovers along the way.
It is expected to be one of many cruises orientated around the 36th America's Cup.
The tour offers a variety of accommodation, Brown says the Deluxe Suite has already gone, however other Deluxe Staterooms are still available.
One of the characters of Australian sailing, Rob Brown sailed in the 1980 and 1983 America's Cups. He also sailed or skippered many winning programs in 18ft skiffs, winning three world championships and competed in the ill-fated 1979 Fastnet Race won by the Australian team.
