Many boats have wipers that don't clean the entire windshield or simply stop mid-sweep when switched off. The Schmitt & Ongaro Marine Products Heavy Duty Waterproof Wiper Motor not only delivers long-term durability, but also provides the ability to easily set the arm(s) for sweep and direction, as well as a self-park function. Available in 12 or 24 volts, it's the perfect solution for OEMs and as an aftermarket replacement.
Unlike many wipers on the market, the Schmitt & Ongaro Heavy Duty Waterproof Wiper Motor adjusts for a 40 degrees-110 degrees sweep in 10 degrees increments left or right and will self-park. This provides the ability to dial-in the maximum windshield coverage of the blade.
Configuring the Heavy Duty Waterproof Wiper Motor is straightforward using common household tools. The internal angle plate is clearly labeled and detailed instructions are included.
IP66-rated, the Heavy Duty Waterproof Wiper Motor has a 316 stainless steel shaft with brass and nickel-plated shaft housing and an aluminum cover for heat dissipation and corrosion resistance. It is available in three shaft sizes, 38.1mm, 63.5mm and 88.9mm, and has two speeds, 35 and 55 sweeps per minute. With 11 ft-lb of torque, it'll drive up to 60.9cm arms with 60.9cm blades effortlessly. The device features insulated grounding for use on any hull material, and is EMC protected and CE approved. It comes with a limited three-year warranty. Schmitt & Ongaro wiper system components can be purchased separately, including a wiper control box, motor, switch and wiper arms and blades.
