Festival of Boating in Sydney and Brisbane Boat Show

Preparation and planning for delivery of the new-format Sydney Festival of Boating and the Brisbane Boat Show is full steam ahead. These BIA events are scheduled for Sydney (Thursday 29 July to Sunday 1 August) and Brisbane (Friday 20 to Sunday 22 August).

The BIA events team is getting ready to launch the Invitation to Exhibit (ITE) on 16 March for the Sydney Festival of Boating; the Brisbane event ITE will follow in due course.

Here is a taste of what to expect from the Sydney Festival of Boating:

  • A new look 'COVID-Safe' four-day show which supports industry and celebrates the boating lifestyle
  • The venue is the ICC Sydney, Cockle Bay Marina, Darling Harbour
  • Days and hours will be Thursday to Saturday (10am - 8pm), Sunday (10am - 5pm)
  • Exhibition footprint inside ICC Sydney is to be restricted to Upper-Level only, includes Exhibitor marquees on the Event Deck
  • Custom built marina within Cockle Bay to cater for on-water demand
  • A Festival of Boating boulevard to connect the ICC Sydney exhibits with marina displays. Paddle, Power and Sail exhibits scattered along the boulevard showcasing the boating lifestyle to passing public
  • A targeted media campaign will take place to ensure we connect with a qualified and willing audience

These preparations are under way whilst keeping an eye on the ongoing situation relating to COVID.
