Ferretti Yachts 1000, the Italian shipyard goes big, with a push by MTU engines

Ferretti Yachts has recently launched its largest ever yacht. It's called just 1000 and the very first boat was booked by a French owner.

The Ferretti Yachts 1000 is the first 100 percent wide-body vessel: its launch "represents the culmination of a design process driven by the quest for perfection: extraordinary investments in R&D, thousands of hours of naval design, long-term mould prototyping at the Plug and Mould factory in Forlì, and the equally long and delicate construction phase at the Cattolica shipyard. The result is a remarkable new flagship made up of talent and technology, the ability to innovate and craftsmanship", stated the Italian company.
