Zeelander Yachts is going to Cannes Yachting Festival (September 7-12) with a strong presence as the renowned Dutch shipyard will display two yachts and make a strategic announcement. This will be the very first public appearance in Europe for the 22-meter flagship Zeelander Z72.

Fifth unit of the model and the first Z72 sold to Europe, specifically to an Italian Owner, while the previous four went to the United States. Zeelander Yachts confirmed a very solid level of interest from customers from all over the world receiving orders for future builds from Russia, Netherlands, and Canada.

European premiere
The Zeelander Z72 that arrives to Cannes in September is the perfect example of the company's very best approaches and practices. The yacht is customized to the client's needs.
The aft and side windows on the main deck have privacy glass that can be tinted with a simple click on a button. From the outside, the Z72 keeps its timeless style with a wide stern and curvy exterior lines. The yacht has three cabins on the lower deck, a spacious main deck saloon with huge windows and panoramic views, and a wide alfresco social area while a 10 square meter beach club is another strong highlight of this model. The layout is sophisticated as all areas are seamlessly connected and placed on the same level. The Z72 is a low maintenance yacht and it offers the same easy operation as the other Zeelanders.
The fifth Z72 features a bespoke aft layout and hydraulic passarelle. The company specially developed a U-seating area in the aft to make sure the owner can accommodate his guests the way he wanted to.
"In area where this particular client resides, yachts are mostly docked stern to," said Sietse Koopmans, Founder and Chairman of Zeelander Yachts. "The family wanted to easily access land from the aft, so we designed a custom hydraulic passarelle that retracts and disappears into the stern."
Speedy racer
The performance of the yacht is sporty thanks to the triple 1,000-horsepower fuel efficient Volvo IPS 1350 engines. The Z72 reaches 40 knots and benefits from the Volvo Penta integrated joystick system to improve manoeuvrability. The layout is sophisticated as all areas are seamlessly connected and placed on the same level. The 22-meter Z72 is a low maintenance yacht, she can be operated without crew, which guarantees complete privacy. The model is also available with a gyro stabilization system for optimal comfort.
Adventures ahead
The Z72 is also geared up for adventures thanks to four rod holders installed in the stern between the side boarding and the swim platform. There are extra chargers and brackets for jet surf boards in the tender garage. Other extras include a diving plank on the bow, which is an amazing feature for everyone who likes some action. The Z72 tender garage is large enough to carry a 3.5-meter Williams tender.
