The competition is open all sailors under 25 years and to enter simply name the Synergy Marine Demo Boat and tell us why your entry should win. See T&Cs.

Closing date for entries 1st April, so get on it!

Samuel Bailey, reigning Lark Belle Isle travellers trophy holder and youth sailor, said "This is an amazing offer by the Lark Class! To be able to take part in a National Championships, with the boat, entry and accommodation already taken care of, is an unbelievable prize offer. I not seen anything this generous from a class association before. The 2022 Lark Nationals at Pentewan is already looking to be one of the biggest and best for many years, I can't wait."

The Lark Class are seeing more and more interest from younger sailors about getting involved in a class where they can race on equal terms with adults. With the Lark being a fast, stable and compact platform we are seeing younger sailors getting involved at Lark Clubs all over the country. With this competition we want to open up the opportunity for a younger team to enjoy the tight competition of the National Championships and the chance to sail the brand new Synergy Marine Lark. So whether you are interested in joining a highly competitive class or are an existing younger sailor who wants to pit yourself against the best in the country, don't miss this chance. Enter today.

On the Lark class's choice of Pentewan, Alan Krailing, past Lark National Champion, said "Having raced at Pentewan in a previous event I was delighted to see it chosen as the host venue for the 2022 Lark Nationals. As a parent I look for a venue that works for the whole family and Pentewan certainly does that with conveniently placed accommodation, a great beach and loads of attractions on the doorstep. Timing is important with lots of competing priorities in the summer, so the spring bank holiday is a big plus."
