Princess Yachts, the UK's leading luxury yacht manufacturer, will present the show premiere of the award-winning Princess Y72 at the Miami International Boat Show 2022 from the 16th - 20th February.
A further four models will also be on display, including the sporty Princess S62, the award-winning Princess F45 plus the F50 and F62 from Princess's F Class flybridge range.
Tom Carroll Jr, President of Princess Yachts America said, "We are thrilled to be a part of the new Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show that brings together the former Miami International Boat Show and Miami Yacht Show into one, incredible and comprehensive show with multiple venues conveniently located in Downtown Miami and the Miami Beach Convention Center. We look forward to showcasing the Princess Y72 for the first time in Miami alongside the Princess F45, F50, S62, and F62, and welcoming visitors to our expansive display at One Herald Plaza."
Designed by the Princess Design Studio in collaboration with naval architects Olesinski and Italian design house, Pininfarina, the Y72 encapsulates the quality and design language as seen on larger yachts in the range and takes it to the next generation.
The Y72 recently received 'Best Flybridge over 60ft' at the Motorboat and Yachting Awards 2022, quoted as "...showing that for all the glamour, polish and attention to detail of a modern Princess motoryacht, the shipyard still gets the formula right when it comes to seakeeping".
Featuring the very latest in Princess exterior design and interior finishes, with beautifully sculpted exterior forms, the Y72 is fitted with expansive full-length hull windows, also seen on the highly anticipated flagship of the range, the Y95, due to launch later this year. Indoor and outdoor living areas are optimised to create sociable yet practical spaces, whilst powerful twin MAN V12 1650mhp engines provide maximum speeds of up to 34 knots.
Also on display will be the F45 flybridge yacht, which achieved the award for 'Best Flybridge under 60ft" at the Motorboat and Yachting Awards 2022. The entry model to the acclaimed F Class flybridge range, the F45 includes many technical innovations that ensure this compact yacht feels as spacious above deck as it does below.
Together with its elegant full-length hull windows, beautifully resolved surfacing, and unique design details, the F45 establishes itself as the benchmark family flybridge yacht that's set to be a highlight of the Princess stand. This modern yet elegant yacht meets the demands for flexible and practical living, lending itself perfectly to socialising and entertaining with spaciously appointed interior and exterior spaces.
"We are delighted to kick-start this years' American boat show season with the return to the Miami International Boat Show," explained Will Green, Chief Commercial Officer at Princess Yachts. "Despite the industrial difficulties the pandemic has presented to global manufacturing over the past two years, Princess has had a record year commercially in 2021, demonstrating the growing appeal of our comprehensive range of boats to existing and new yacht buyers around the world, and not least in North America."

F50
The F50 flybridge combines classic Princess flybridge qualities of innovative use of space, supreme focus on quality of design and manufacture, and superb performance and sea keeping. Princess Design Studio and Olesinski ensured the F50 delivers technical innovations that make her feel as spacious above deck as below. Sporting a full beam owner's stateroom, elegant hull-length windows and luxurious materials, the F50 offers class-leading space. The efficient twin Volvo D8-IPS 800 (2 x 600 mhp) engines combine with Princess's unique resin-infused deep-V hull for a top speed of up to 36 knots.
F62
The new F62 boasts a walkthrough foredeck entertaining space and a hydraulic bathing platform to set the standard for the F Class. Her flybridge inspires relaxation with a large dining area, sunpad aft and a unique circular forward seating area that can be converted into an additional sunpad. Her cavernous main deck saloon connects to the world outside through full-length side windows, while her sociable galley is positioned aft and opens to the cockpit. The helm position is located to starboard with additional forward-facing guest seating opposite.
Below deck six guests enjoy three beautifully appointed en-suite cabins all bathed in natural light from elegant hull glazing, with the option of a further twin cabin aft for occasional guests or crew.
Like its larger siblings, the S62 is built upon Princess's renowned V-shaped hull and coupled with the latest MAN V8 1200 engines, meaning outstanding seakeeping and speeds of up to 38 knots. Designed from the outset for a sporting lifestyle, an electro-hydraulic bathing platform creates a convenient launch system for a 3.3m tender, a jet ski, or simply a secluded base from which to swim.
The S62 is designed for entertaining alfresco with an aft galley and open-plan dining area. Below deck, six guests are comfortably accommodated across an en-suite full-beam owner's stateroom and two further guest cabins with the option of an additional crew cabin aft.
