2022 CUBAR Odyssey reaches full entry list

Cruise Underway to Baja Rally (CUBAR) has reached its target of 50 boats registered to depart on the journey from San Diego to La Paz, Mexico from October 30 - November 13. CUBAR was designed to give power boaters the opportunity to experience long distance cruising safely alongside other cruisers -- and more cruisers are taking advantage of the Rally with every running of the event. This year's edition of CUBAR has nearly double the registrants than its last running in 2019.
"The 2022 CUBAR is shaping up to be our best ever! I think Covid provided an awakening that life is short and we have to enjoy the journey, creating pent up demand for people to seek adventure. The bigger fleet for CUBAR 2022 is indicative of that pent up demand. CUBAR helps people gain confidence to really enjoy their boats and go cruising," commented CUBAR Chair Dave Abrams.
Eight of the participants boats are Nordhavn models. Nordhavn, a premier sponsor of the event, will also be hosting a pre-rally party. The legacy of Nordhavn lies within the extended cruising adventures that are the hallmark of the company's purpose-built power yachts and their intrepid owners.

There is a small wait list started for this year's CUBAR, so any interested boat owners are still welcome to apply and will be offered spots if any registrants cancel their entry. Check out the profiles of the registered fleet.
