The D-One class has always been notable for a European regatta circuit in fantastic locations, and after two years of very little international sailing, the D-One community is looking very enthusiastic for the upcoming Gold Cup, 26-29 May at AVAL-CDV in Gravedona, at the North end of Lake Como.

This is a perfect holiday location, easily accessible to all our European fleets, and usually blessed with an intriguingly shifty thermal wind in the afternoon.

The Notice of Race and much other information, including accommodation, travel and online entry, is now available at www.d-oneassociation.org/en

We have received intentions to race from sailors from GBR, ITA, SUI, FRA, AUT, POL, CZE, ESP and GER, and have every expectation that this will be a very well-attended event in a spectacular location.

The club are happy to receive boats from 20 May, and will be organising racing the weekend of 21/22 May with the club at Dervio, on the other side of the lake. There are many pleasant options for how to pass a few days in paradise before the Gold Cup starts on the Thursday.

Gravedona is a beautiful place to holiday and great base to explore the area by lake boat, by car or by train. Come and join us!
