In celebration of the inaugural F1 Miami Grand Prix, Sunreef Yachts hosted an intimate evening on Sunday, May 8th, honoring future 60 Sunreef Power Eco yacht owner Fernando Alonso.
The evening welcomed owners, clients, and friends to Bayfront Park in downtown Miami onboard Sunreef 80 Double Happiness and Sunreef 60 Valentine.
Synergy and sustainability
The two-time Formula 1 champion Fernando Alonso arrived to the event on a carbon fiber e-bike from his sustainable lifestyle brand Kimoa. The innovative e-bike is impact resistant, lightweight and can be customized specifically to each rider's preferences. It was officially premiered during the Miami Grand Prix week.
"I really admire the way Sunreef Yachts combines innovation and creativity. They are a trendsetting company with visionary ideas. I am proud to be one of their ambassadors and look forward to cruising my own electric Sunreef Yachts Eco catamaran." - Fernando Alonso.
The art of yachting
Sunreef Yachts surprised Alonso with a vibrant painting of his 60 Sunreef Power Eco from Miami artist Alexander Mijares. The artwork's color palette and style are inspired by Miami's dynamic street art scene and Alonso's F1 helmet design.
First Sunreef NFT
The physical painting was also captured digitally and transformed into an animated NFT designed exclusively for Fernando Alonso. In line with Sunreef Yacht's sustainability policy, it was minted on the Solsea marketplace on the Solana blockchain, which is a carbon-neutral initiative.
