Bayliss Boatworks new construction update - Bayliss 75' Wave Paver

We are excited to announce the completion of our latest 75' custom sportfishing yacht to hit the water: Wave Paver.

Now that our work on the project is finished, we look back with pride to just over two years ago when her owners approached us to discuss their second build.

It is an honor to build each and every hull, but it is an exceptional privilege when customers choose us for a second time. Wave Paver will be joining a long-standing and very successful fishing program on the tournament circuit, with the original Wave Paver 77'.

The combination of the details, the wood species, the granite, and the interior soft goods all combined to make this build one of our most stunning projects ever. Wave Paver was completely designed in house and is the result of a 28 month build process.

Teak decking and coaming boards installed in the cockpit This past month, more details were checked off on the interior and exterior of Old Reliable (Bayliss 72'). The planking process has been completed After receiving three layers of cold-molded okoume plywood on the bottom and two layers on the hull sides, the planking process for Overtime (Bayliss 67') has officially been completed with the placement of her "whiskey plank". The interior is progressing quickly Our greatest note was the installation of her 1,150 gallon forward fuel tank by our mechanical crew. Once in place, the paint crew was able to complete fairing, painting and top coat inside the machine tunnel - forward sole installation is next! It won't be long until the cockpit comes to life Old Reliable's (Bayliss 72') cockpit development continues as the coaming and coverboards receive glassing.
