The Amel 50 is a centre cockpit sloop protected by a hardtop with an opening sunroof and is fully enclosable with its high quality winter covers/clears. The Amel 50 is designed to be sailed solo with electric furling sails controlled from the helm station.
The central engine room houses all machinery which is isolated against water ingress and also makes the boat's interior quiet and odour free. The Amel 50 has watertight bulkheads and draining system that provides a very high level of safety at sea.
