Princess Yachts, the UK's leading luxury yacht manufacturer, will present the show premiere of the all-new Princess V50 at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2022 from the 26th to 30th October.

This year's event will also showcase the flagship of the Princess range, the X95 super flybridge yacht. Completing the seven-yacht display will be the Princess Y85, Y72, F55, F45 and the sporty S62. With a stunning display of Princess yachts at this year's event, visitors will have a real opportunity to immerse themselves in the craftmanship & exquisite details of a Princess.

Designed by the Princess Design Studio in collaboration with naval architects Olesinski and Italian design house, Pininfarina, the all-new V50 has been created using all-new hull, deck and canopy moulds to redefine one of the core models in the range. At the heart of the new deep-V hull are compact, yet highly efficient, twin Volvo Penta IPS600 or IPS650 engines that can deliver maximum speeds of over 30 knots, and an extended cruising range over the outgoing model through increased fuel capacity to accommodate owner's outdoor lifestyles, allowing adventurers to travel further afield.

The V50 is characterised by sleek styling, with a new extended full-length hull window graphic which integrates the aft air intake, also seen on the class-leading Princess V55. Princess's design team have designed the cockpit arrangement and bathing platform to maximise the levels of outdoor living space as seen on larger vessels, with practical access from both sides of the transom to both cockpit and side decks, and an elongated canopy which provides a comfortable shaded area to escape the heat of the sun whilst being in a position to fully appreciate the yacht's balanced performance.

Below deck a bright, modern open galley with a bespoke moulded sink, two-zone ceramic hob, combination microwave/convection oven and full height fridge/freezer is situated opposite a generous U-shaped seating area, which can alternatively be replaced with a third two-berth cabin. Four guests enjoy two beautifully appointed cabins that are filled with natural light from the extensive hull glazing, with a full-beam master stateroom situated amidships.

The V50 is designed for year-round cruising with flexible spaces and innovative design solutions to maximise cruising comfort and outdoor enjoyment. The all-new Princess V50 raises the bar in what is possible in a 50-foot sports yacht.

James Nobel, Vice President & Marketing Director of Princess Yachts America said, "This year's Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show presents the unique opportunity for us to showcase models from each class in the Princess range against the backdrop of an all-new display in a prime location along the show's world-famous Face Dock. We look forward to welcoming visitors to experience the exceptional Princess models on display, as well as learn more about a number of exciting upcoming models."

The exceptional line up of seven yachts will be on display at the Purple Zone: Bahia Mar Yachting Centre, Face Dock.

Yachts on Display:

Y72

The Y72 is instantly recognisable as a member of the Y Class, and reinforces the British brand's focus on elegance, beautiful design and attention to detail across the range. Designed by the Princess Design Studio in collaboration with naval architects Olesinski and Italian design house, Pininfarina, the Y72 encapsulates the quality and design language as seen on larger yachts in the range and takes it to the next generation. The Y72 recently received 'Best Flybridge over 60ft' at the Motorboat and Yachting Awards 2022, quoted as "...showing that for all the glamour, polish and attention to detail of a modern Princess motoryacht, the shipyard still gets the formula right when it comes to seakeeping". Featuring the very latest in Princess exterior design and interior finishes, with beautifully sculpted exterior forms, the Y72 is fitted with expansive full-length hull windows, also seen on the highly anticipated flagship of the range, the Y95, due to launch later this year. Indoor and outdoor living areas are optimised to create sociable yet practical spaces, whilst powerful twin MAN V12 1650mhp engines provide maximum speeds of up to 34 knots.

The all-new V50

Designed by the Princess Design Studio in collaboration with naval architects Olesinski and Italian design house, Pininfarina, the V50 has been created using all-new hull, deck and canopy moulds to redefine one of the core models in the range. At the heart of the new deep-V hull are compact, yet highly efficient, twin Volvo IPS650 engines that can deliver maximum speeds of over 30 knots. Princess's design team have designed the cockpit arrangement and bathing platform to maximise outdoor living space, with an elongated canopy which provides a comfortable shaded area to escape the heat of the sun whilst being in a position to fully appreciate the yacht's balanced performance. The main deck features a U-shaped dining area with an outdoor galley opposite. Further forward, the helmsman and navigator are perfectly positioned, the bespoke twin helm seats raised for clear sightlines through the single-pane windscreen. The large sliding roof section with integrated glazing above offers the total flexibility of a truly open boating experience.

X95

Princess Yachts' 'Superfly' X Class range re-defines the practical potential and lifestyle options aboard with a complete re-think of yacht architecture. Challenged with setting a new standard of layout excellence, which is defined by large, adaptable spaces that can be used and formatted in numerous ways, it offers the owner and guests a uniquely flexible boating lifestyle. Both the flybridge and main deck interior space cover almost the full length of the yacht, creating the Super Flybridge - the X Class's defining characteristic. This new layout provides 10% more outdoor space and 40% more indoor space than a traditional motor yacht.

Y85

The Princess Design Studio and Olesinski worked closely with Pininfarina to combine a unique sculptural elegance and simplicity of form that gives the new Y85 breath-taking looks while remaining unmistakably Princess. The Y85 design team focused as much on interior layout and use as on exterior elegance and detail. The flybridge unashamedly focuses on al-fresco living and relaxing. A large dining area sits opposite a fully-equipped wet bar, barbecue and fridge, further complemented by a large aft sunpad and forward-facing seating either side of the helm position where guests can take shade underneath the dynamic architectural form of the optional louvred hardtop.

F45

Also on display will be the F45 flybridge yacht, which achieved the award for 'Best Flybridge under 60ft" at the Motorboat and Yachting Awards 2022. The entry model to the acclaimed F Class flybridge range, the F45 includes many technical innovations that ensure this compact yacht feels as spacious above deck as it does below. Together with its elegant full-length hull windows, beautifully resolved surfacing, and unique design details, this modern yet elegant yacht meets the demands for flexible and practical living, lending itself perfectly to socialising and entertaining with spaciously appointed interior and exterior spaces.

F55

The award-winning Princess F55 flybridge delivers magnificent performance and uncompromising comfort in equal measure. Designed for outdoor living, her 17.80m2 flybridge features a convertible sunbed, twin helm seats, a wetbar and ergonomic dining areas. Below deck, both the master stateroom and forward cabin feature large double beds whilst the starboard guest cabin with two single beds can also be converted in to a double. Together with its expansive saloon and hull windows, that flood each deck with light, this oasis of calm can then be propelled to a top speed approaching 33 knots.

S62

Like its larger siblings, the S62 is built upon Princess's renowned V-shaped hull and coupled with the latest MAN V8 1200 engines, meaning outstanding seakeeping and speeds of up to 38 knots. Designed from the outset for a sporting lifestyle, an electro-hydraulic bathing platform creates a convenient launch system for a 3.3m tender, a jet ski, or simply a secluded base from which to swim. The S62 is designed for entertaining alfresco with an aft galley and open-plan dining area. Below deck, six guests are comfortably accommodated across an en-suite full-beam owner's stateroom and two further guest cabins with the option of an additional crew cabin aft.
