With an unprecedented presence of 6 Jeanneau Sun Fast racing yachts in the 77th edition of the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race, this year will witness a fierce rivalry among them within the 120 yachts entered for the Race, organised by the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (CYCA).
With all 6 being 2-handed, a total of 5 Jeanneau Sun Fast 3300's and 1 Sun Fast 3600 will compete in the short-handed division of 21, the largest division in the race. The fleet includes three previous Super Maxi line honours winners and last year's Fastnet Race winner which has been shipped out from the UK.
Performance Boating Sales, Jeanneau's regional dealer based in New South Wales, will be participating with their "Sun Fast Racing" for the game. Captain Lee Condell, Director of Performance Boating Sales, has partnered up with Lincoln Dews as co-skipper on this Sun Fast 3300, which had just achieved line honours in the 2-handed division and 2nd on handicap in the recent Tollgate Islands Race by CYCA.
