YYachts is exhibiting a Y9 at the Palma International Boat Show. The nearly 30-meter-long slup is currently the most significant model from the German shipyard.
The Palma International Boat Show has been one of our most important fairs for many years. This is because so many sailing yachts are exhibited; accordingly, many sailing yacht owners or those who want to become one visit the show. This year, from April 27 to 30, we will be docking our flagship, the Y9 "Bella", which has just won a BOAT International award.
The Y9 was born from the ambitious idea to build a light and elegant superyacht, following the company's philosophy to reduce sailing to the essentials without neglecting comfort.
With a length of 29.71 meters, the Y9 offers the same volume as a 100-foot yacht thanks to its clever design. Bill Tripp was responsible for exterior design and construction, while the interior is the result of styling by Norm Architects and the expertise of Design Unlimited.
Like all YYachts models, the Y9 is built entirely of carbon fiber, optimising its performance and making it highly competitive. For the Y9, we offer at least five different layouts and the possibility to completely customise the interior for each owner. Our custom division also allows for any exterior customisation - among other things; we currently have a Y9 Pilot House under construction.
