Sailfish has announced the launch of its new 226 Dual Console model, designed to cater to the growing demand for "fish boats" that double as runabouts and SUVs on the water.

At 22-feet in length, the 226 DC offers ample storage, comfortable seating, lounging areas, and plenty of space for fishing. Its striking exterior design, featuring a tall freeboard, shapely transom hips, timeless sheer line, and gentle bow flare, exudes confidence and class.

Inside the 226 DC, guests are welcomed with a spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped interior. The unique port side lounger offers fore and aft seating and can convert to a full lay-down sunbed, while the fold-away aft seat provides access to a bilge garage trunk. The captain's seat at the helm offers a commanding view of the boat's surroundings, with all controls easily accessible.

The bow of the 226 DC is a great place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the sights, with insulated storage below and room to set up an optional bow table for snacks or playing cards. The wrap-around windshield offers protection from the elements, and an optional 7" Garmin GPS system aids in fishing or family-friendly adventures.

The 226 DC also offers family-friendly features, such as the Baja sandbar cooler in the transom swim platform, the Baja storage box in the transom, abundant storage space below all seats, numerous cup holders, USB ports, a standard transom pressurized freshwater shower, and an optional ski tow pylon for pulling tubers or skiers.

Despite its family-friendly features, the 226 DC does not skimp on its fishing heritage, with a 26-gallon live well, numerous rod holders, insulted bow fish boxes (which double as a cooler when fish are not inside), and a hull design and construction foundation that's ready for anything.

The 226 DC is built on Sailfish's 6th-generation Variable Degree Stepped (VDS) hull, which provides the perfect balance of stability and performance, whether at rest or slogging through chop. The Sailtech construction process, which uses materials including Kevlar, carbon fiber, quad axile fiberglass mat, and Trevira, ensures the strength, quality, and durability that boaters need.

The performance and ride of the 226 DC is powered by a single Mercury, Yamaha, or Suzuki 150 or 200 HP engine.

"We are thrilled to introduce the 226 Dual Console to the market," said Sailfish Boats CEO Rob Parmentier. "It's a versatile boat that offers the best of both worlds - family fun and serious fishing capabilities - and we're confident it will be a hit with boaters of all levels of experience."
