Sydney International Boat Show © Sydney International Boat Show

The 54th Sydney International Boat Show is on again at Cockle Bay at Darling Harbour, 3 - 6 August and we're excited to display one of our biggest-ever lineups with several Australian and Sydney model premieres.

As always, we offer the opportunity to book your preferred time for a private viewing, so you can sidestep the crowds and have the time to explore as well as ask any questions you have of our expert team.

On the marina, we will be premiering several new models - the award-winning First 36, the Oceanis 34.1 and Oceanis Yacht 54. Close by we'll also have on display the Excess 11 Catamaran and the Oceanis 40.1.

Book your preferred slot here or call us on 1300 998 662.

First Yacht 36 - the legend continues

We are excited to unveil the award-winning First 36.

The Beneteau First 36 fulfils the design mission of bridging the gap between high-tech development in the world of racing and mainstream racer-cruisers. To be specific, even the standard version of the First 36 will fully plane in a moderate breeze.

Going 9, 10, or 11 knots instead of 5, 6, or 7 knots makes sailing more fun. It also makes your cruising radius bigger. You will not only enjoy sailing more with this exceptional boat, you'll also spend more time under sail.

In racing layout, the wide and modern cockpit allows for different helm and trim positions, either for short-handed or fully-crewed sailing. In this setup, the table and bench extensions are removed, opening the working area in the cockpit.

In her cruising layout, the cockpit benches with cushions increase the seating area and additional storage space and rope organisation. The cockpit table is big enough to seat a crew of six. Additionally, the design team developed an ultralight bathing platform to give sailors easy access to the water without affecting the boat's performance.

And the experts agree! She is already a multi-award winning boat - British Yachting Awards 2022, European Yacht of the Year 2023, Sailing World Boat of the Year 2023, and Cruising World Boat of the Year 2023, to name but a few.

The unmistakable Oceanis Yacht 54

The brand new luxurious Oceanis Yacht 54 carries the unmistakable DNA of the Oceanis Yacht range, a delicate balance of form and function that make her as stunning as she is capable and as focused as she is versatile, equally ready for a fast ocean passage or a leisurely double-handed sunset cruise.

Capitalising on experience gained with the enormously popular Oceanis range, as well as the trend-setting new First Yacht 53, her architects, Roberto Biscontini and Lorenzo Argento, have created a masterpiece that seamlessly blends form and function into a yacht that is exhilarating under sail, easy to shorthand and comfortable both at sea and in port.

With an emphasis on build quality, high-end materials and the innovative vision that has always been a staple of the Beneteau brand, the Oceanis Yacht 54 truly represents the pinnacle of the modern monohull cruising design.

A vast array of options, trim levels, rigging and keel setups, and mechanical components ensure there will be a tailored yacht to fit the needs of every sailor, and her stylish looks will turn heads in every harbour on every ocean.

Oceanis 34.1 - Performance and space

Sleeker, lighter, with more sail area, and more space in the bow than its predecessor for the owner's cabin, the Oceanis 34.1 promises unforgettable days out on the water.

Once again, Marc Lombard and NAUTA Design have combined their efforts to produce a unique design concept, true to the spirit of the 7th generation Oceanis range.

The Oceanis cruisers are perfect for families, couples, and experienced sailors. These versatile cruisers are perfectly adaptable to fit the most demanding sailor's cruising requirements, whilst satisfying their need for comfort and pleasure under sail.

Keeping her company on the marina will be her bigger sister, the Oceanis 40.1, offering a balance of elegance, space, and performance.

The perfect family cruiser - Excess 11

One of a kind - beautiful, simple, and light - the award-winning EXCESS 11 is made for life on board.

The only large-scale production boat on the market for this size of catamaran, the Excess 11 is a cruising catamaran capable of offering so much comfort and space, not to mention the thrill of sailing.

The choice of the three cabin Owners version or optional four-cabin version makes the EXCESS 11 the perfect family cruiser.

VPLP Design brings their expertise and signature flair to EXCESS. The award-winning naval architect firm is renowned for both their catamaran designs and for creating some of the world's most innovative racing boats.

EXCESS 11 is a sophisticated, balanced, and refined boat with a strong personality: sleek lines, elegant proportions, perfect balance. Its design embodies both sportsmanship and modernity.

Perfect for weekend cruising or long-distance travel, she is a cruising catamaran capable of fulfilling all your needs in both comfort and space.

The full Excess range (Excess 11, 12,14 and 15) can be viewed here.
