With a little under a year until the 2024 event, the registration list has reached the entry cap of 15 teams and includes 3 alternates representing countries from around the globe:

  • USA - 12 Teams
  • Australia - 3 Teams
  • The Netherlands - 1 Team
  • Germany - 1 Team
  • Sweden - 1 Team

The event will be run on boats in the Formula 18 class, launching from and finishing on select beaches from Hollywood, FL to Virginia Beach, VA. It's 1000 miles of offshore sailing for the most daring and capable sailors. There will again be overnight stops at 13 different locations up the coast, and this year, the layday will be in Folly Beach (Saturday, May 18th)

The response from fans, sponsors (old AND new!), public officials and the Social Media following has been incredible! Posts on Facebook alone topped 20k each day since registration opened in April of this year. And for 2024, we're excited to expand the coverage on the beach, on the water and to bring the sailors' stories to you in a way that feels personal. Our very own YouTube channel is in the works, and a staff of dedicated photographers and videographers will be on hand each day to bring you daily sizzle reels, and live broadcasts of each start and finish.

The official countdown clock is up and running on the official website - Check back often for event updates and the latest news!
