J Craft Boats AB, Europe's premier luxury yacht builder reports new business developments and growth alongside a packed Summer programme.

2023 marks a year of growth and a year of firsts for J Craft, with the delivery of three Torpedoes, the launch of the company's US operations and a commitment to sustainability, across materials, production, energy and the facility in Gotland, Sweden.

J Craft materials are sourced with a very strict criteria, with a deliberate emphasis on environmental impact and biodegradability, as well as ensuring that over 95% of production is sourced and produced in Sweden. Furthermore, J Craft's entire energy needs will soon be fully covered by renewable sources.

J Craft, creators of the Torpedo 42, exquisite, bespoke hand-crafted day cruisers, recently delivered Hull #20, "Family T" to St Tropez in late May, where she set sail on her maiden voyage and proceeded to her new home port of Porto Cervo, Sardinia, in a little over 8 hours.

Hull #21, "Babebi" was delivered to her home port of Beaulieu in late June and is J Craft's first ever Torpedo featuring a metallic-coloured hull. Babebi is a Torpedo "RS" which comes with two Volvo Penta IPS 650s that will take it to a top speed of 47 knots. The interior is two-tone with yellow brass and off-white as well as the beautiful diamond stitching. The new Torpedo comes with extra lithium batteries allowing for a full day on the water, engines off, with music, charging, fridges, air conditioning and seakeeper on without the need to use the generator making it extra quiet and comfortable without the loss of any amenities.

Taking over 9,000 man-hours to build, the Torpedo can reach speeds in excess of 50 mph and offers exceptional maneuverability. Her hull shape, refined over two dozen builds, delivers excellent stability and performance in any sea state, as well as an impressive 280-nm range. The convertible open cockpit features two sundecks, comfortably accommodating up to 10 adults for day cruises. The spacious cabin sleeps up to 4 guests in luxurious style.

This summer will see an ambitious programme of activities on both sides of the Atlantic from Nantucket to Martha's Vineyard and the Hamptons through to FLIBS via Newport, Annapolis and Florida. In Europe, J Craft partners Sportmer and Monaco Marine take the lead in St Tropez and Monaco with the addition of two new J Craft Torpedoes to their Torpedo fleet this year. See the programme here

J Craft will be present at both the Cannes (Sept. 12 - 17) and Monaco (Sept. 27 - 30) Boat Shows exhibiting the latest Torpedo, BaBeBi, the most fully equipped J Craft Torpedo to date, through partners Sportmer and Monaco Marine.

In the US, in partnership with Dave Mallach, J Craft will exhibit at the three major international boat shows this Fall: Newport, RI (Sept. 14 - 17); Annapolis, MA (Oct. 5 - 8) and Fort Lauderdale, FL (Oct. 25 - 29) with a Torpedo on display.
