Despite a marina owner's best efforts, electrical problems at the pedestal may not be immediately diagnosed. Twist-Lock 50A Cable Sets from Hubbell Marine play an important role in enhancing dockside safety for boat owners, by incorporating bright LED indicators that provide clear and immediate assurance of proper connection.

Engineered to withstand the harsh marine environment, Hubbell 50A Cable Sets provide outstanding quality and reliability. Each features a fully-molded ergonomic housing incorporating a nickel-plated brass shell for superior waterproofing and corrosion resistance. A stainless steel threaded sealing ring assures a weathertight fit against the shore power inlet.

An integrated arrow on the housing facilitates proper alignment, and notches indicate locked and unlocked positions. The bright, molded-in LED lights are visible even in direct sunlight, glowing green to confirm power flow and red in the event of a faulty hookup.

On the inside, Hubbell 50A Cable Sets feature thermoset contact carriers resistant to arcing and heat, along with nickel-plated brass contact blades for reliable operation. An integrated bull ring in the cord terminal provides stress relief in use, while an exclusive copper crimp barrel termination protects against overheating.

The cords themselves are designed to remain flexible, coil easily and lay flat. Marine UL and cUL listed, Hubbell Marine 50A twist-lock cable sets with LED safety indicators are available in yellow 125V models either 15.2m or 7.6m long, as well as in 125/250V versions in yellow or white, in 15.2m or 7.6m lengths.
