Pearl Yachts is set to present its latest models at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2023. The multi-award winner Pearl 62 and the flagship Pearl 95 will be accompanied by the new Pearl 72, which debuted earlier this year.

Pearl Yachts announces its participation in the 2023 Cannes Yachting Festival, to be held from the 12th to the 17th of September. Guests at the stand will find the brand's latest generation on display, with the Pearl 62, the new Pearl 72, and the Pearl 95, expressing the state-of-the-art of exterior and interior design by Bill Dixon and Kelly Hoppen CBE respectively. And for a glimpse at the future, the stand will host a VR lounge where guests can experience the soon-to-launch Pearl 82 for the first time.

While the largest and smallest of the range already have reputations at the Cote D'Azur event, this year will mark the first appearance of the Pearl 72. The brand's thoughtful and fresh approach to the features and lifestyle on board has earned attention from media, customers, and competitors.

Anticipating the 2023 Cannes Yachting Festival, Pearl Yachts Managing Director, Iain Smallridge commented: "Cannes is our first stop following the 25th anniversary celebrations, which was a milestone for our shipyard and for our team. We joined the top players in the nautical world a few seasons ago - that was something gradual. With 25 years behind us, it's possible to look ahead and see where this incredible trajectory can take us - we look forward to sharing our yachts, as well as our heritage and our vision with old friends and new ones, very soon."

The Pearl range at Cannes Yachting Festival 2023

Pearl 62 - Compact and competitive
Measuring 18.6m, the Pearl 62 is the only yacht in the size-class to offer accommodations for eight guests across four cabins, including a full beam owner's suite with a private entrance, plus the owner's choice of a crew cabin or jet ski garage. Other highlights include an aft galley open to the cockpit, a vast flybridge, a foredeck lounge, and the benefits of Volvo IPS pod drive propulsion, including joystick control.

Pearl 72 - Layout leader
In terms of layout, the new Pearl 72 makes a unique introduction to the size-class: two Master Cabins. One is forward with a private entrance, as typically seen on much larger yachts, and the second is full beam amidships. In addition to providing an ideal solution for co-owners who enjoy the yacht together, the innovative layout allows owners to enjoy a beautiful view even when moored stern-to in a marina. There are two further en-suite double cabins plus accommodation for the crew, in addition to an exceptional garage with space for a William 345 tender (or similar) and a jet ski.

Pearl 95 - Smart at scale
The flagship Pearl 95 boasts a full beam owner's cabin on the main deck, as well as an expansive beach club with fold-down buttresses. She has proven to be an award-winning combination of performance, style and quality, taking the title of 'Best Layout' at the World Yachts Trophies. The Pearl 95 went on to receive further recognition with the awards of 'Best Interior Design - Power Yachts' and 'Best Main Saloon' at the International Yacht and Aviation Awards.

Pearl 72

  • The British yacht builder has announced a new 72' flybridge yacht that features two master cabins, a total of four en-suite guest cabins, and a crew cabin - plus a garage for large tender and a jet ski.
  • Dixon Yacht Design has evolved the distinctive Pearl exterior to appear even more modern and sleek, matching the advancements made in performance, efficiency, and seakeeping through advanced naval architecture.
  • Kelly Hoppen CBE has again styled the interior of the new Pearl 72 in continuity of the brand's heritage, taking the world-famous look a step further with the debut of the new "Indulgence" interior design scheme.

The model features the latest edition of Bill Dixon's coordinated exterior design and naval architecture, as well as the celebrated new interior design theme "Indulgence" by Kelly Hoppen CBE. In terms of layout, the Pearl 72 adds a unique introduction to the size-class: two Master Cabins. One is forward with a private entrance, as typically seen on much larger yachts, and the second is full beam amidships. There are two more en-suite double cabins plus accommodation for the crew, in addition to an exceptional garage, with space for a William 345 tender (or similar) and a jet ski.

Modern exterior design
About the 22-metre Pearl 72 with a 5.7-metre beam, Exterior Designer Bill Dixon said, "Every element of the 72's design follows from the core identity that she is a Pearl. But with this new yacht, we have evolved to a higher level. The hull glass has been expanded for a more modern look, combined with the sporty stance which she inherited from the recent Pearl 62 - a marker of the new generation. The lines are as elegant as ever, now a bit sleeker and more streamlined, and the use of spheric glass gives her curves in all the right places. As for the layout, we were as shrewd as ever to use the available space to our maximum advantage. The flybridge is full length to accommodate unexpected amenities and leave plenty of space for the owner's choice of layout."

Entertaining in open-air
The flybridge is a clear example of the theme of flexibility, which defines the entire Pearl 72. Guests can enjoy the fresh air and flybridge experience under the variable hard top, which has 3 settings: Full shade, adjustable louvres, and full sun.

The helm and forward-facing seating set up a friendly area for owner operators to enjoy cruising in the company of guests; the full-sized dining table has a multi-functional wet bar opposite, and the aft area can be tailored to suit the owner's needs with freestanding furniture, a sun pad or even a hot tub. Stairs lead down to the cockpit, which is centred around the table with a sofa and freestanding seating, sheltered by the flybridge but enjoying a wide-open view - this is one of the main entertaining areas onboard.

One more set of steps takes us down to the beach club, which features a fold-out seat and an extended bathing platform. It's the perfect place to kick off an adventure, with full support for all the must-have water toys. The garage accommodates a large Tender and there's still room for a jet ski. Deploying both vehicles is a breeze and the fold-out side platforms ensure there's always plenty of space to meet the Sea. Once the garage is closed, the fold-down transom seat makes the bathing platform a comfortable space. Whether sea-lovers are looking for excitement or relaxation, it's a delightful spot.

Finally, we come to the bow lounge - a great place to end the day, watching the sunset, thanks to the wide sofa and sun pads. Below the Bedouin-style Bimini and the retracting table, you can do whatever you want with this space. A nice detail is that the anchor mechanisms are neatly tucked away, giving everyone a clear view off the bow for sunbathing at anchor or even while cruising at low speeds.

Class-Leading Layout
The entrance to the salon is a via an impressive electrically operated sliding door. The main saloon is laid out as a lounge, with designer sofas along the port side and eye-catching furniture starboard, with an abundance of storage. Making our way forward, we pass the three-stool bar, which blends the open galley with the social area. This lobby is a pleasure to pass through, thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows. Together with the cut-outs in the bulwarks, it creates an observatory in remarkable contact with the environment.

And finally, we arrive beneath the, now synonymous, "Pearl double windscreen", which houses the internal helm station and a relaxed dinette area. An optional door beside the helm gives easy access to the exterior, bringing in the breeze and making for easier operation. There are two stairways leading to the lower deck; the forward master has a private stairway by the helm. Amidships, the main stairway takes you down to the main accommodations area. Kelly Hoppen CBE elaborates her new décor style into each space and with 4 en-suite guest cabins, a feat impossible to find on yachts of this size, there is plenty of room to express what "Indulgence" is all about.

The first yacht to offer "indulgence"
Kelly Hoppen Interiors has continued to refine the design of Pearl Yachts, taking the world-famous look one step further and introducing a new interior theme - "Indulgence". The design concept for the Pearl 72 was to create a sleek modern interior with smooth lines and overlapping textures which embodies Kelly's signature style. The design intent of this yacht was to capture New York City urban living on water while enhancing and working with the incredible mechanical features that have been achieved. An array of materials including incredible timber veneers, onyx marbles and contrasting metal detailing has been used throughout and layered together to create wonderful reflections and luxurious tones, fusing the ocean and interiors together to create an earthly and sensory experience.

Kelly Hoppen has commented: "We approached the design of this yacht as I would when creating couture interiors for private residence whilst taking inspiration from New York urban living. We maximised each space and defined them with subtle fusion cleans lines and neutral tones, which is balanced with warm and rich textures, taking our creations for Pearl Yacht to the next level."

Sharp performance
Whether the owner chooses the standard 1400HP MAN V12s or the optional MTUs with 1600HP, the Pearl 72's advanced hull architecture ensures a smooth, efficient cruise and easy handling. The latter engine carries her up to 32 knots, with a cruising speed of 25 knots for a range of approximately 250 nautical miles. All the performance advancements have implications for comfort, safety, and fuel economy.

Five-year warranty
As with all Pearl Yachts, the Pearl 72 comes with a unique and comprehensive five-year warranty, three years longer than most other new boat warranties.

Pearl 62

The Pearl 62 is a family yacht, easy to use, fun to own with space and amenities for all. Starting aft, the yacht can be fitted with an optional up/down bathing platform that also glides outwards to become a terrace on the sea. The transom has a built-in bench that can be used as seating or as a passageway if a tender is stowed on the platform and it lifts to reveal a jet ski garage that can alternatively be fitted as a crew cabin. The bathing platform has runners so that launching a jet ski from the garage is a breeze.

Starboard steps lead to the aft cockpit where there is a large table with banquette seating. The glass doors leading to the saloon slide all the way sideways and a window slides down so that the cockpit opens onto the saloon to become a large indoor/outdoor space. Kelly Hoppen proposes four interior style themes for the Pearl 62: Modern, Studio, Taupe and Luxury all of which incorporate materials ranging from Calacatta marble to suede so that owners can personalise the yacht to suit their taste. Luxury and opulence are assured.

The saloon has large glazed areas that sweep upwards so that the interiors are bathed in natural light. Starting aft, there is a fully equipped galley with Miele appliances, a private stairway leading to the owners' cabin, a dining area and a living area next to the indoor helm station. Helm seats are adjustable and owners can choose to add a side door by the helms. A second stairway leads down to the VIP and the twin cabins.

Side decks lead to the foredeck where guests will find a large seating area complete with foldaway table that disappears into the seating and sun pads with adjustable backrests. There are plenty of drinks holders and lockers and the area can be fitted with an optional Bedouin style canopy.

The full-length flybridge is accessed via a staircase on the starboard side of the aft cockpit. This large and versatile space has a helm station with joystick controls and Garmin touch screens with controls for everything from the yacht's anchor to its Fusion entertainment system. Next to the helms there is comfortable seating that can convert to become sun pads. A hardtop with an opening central section is optional but a wet bar with a cool box, sink and BBQ grill is standard. An icemaker and fridge can be added if owners desire. Across from the wet bar there is banquette seating and a dining table for eight. Owners can set up the aft section of the flybridge as they please with loose furniture or side couches.

Exceptionally for a yacht in this size range, the Pearl 62 has four guest cabins. The full beam owners' cabin is accessed via a private stairway and features a large, centrally placed bed, a desk, a reading corner and his and hers closets. Long hull windows mean that owners can enjoy the view even lying down. The cabin's en-suite has Calacatta marble finishes, a large sink and a shower stall.

Two twin cabins can both convert to doubles. The port side twin has direct access to a bathroom that is shared with the starboard twin and that also functions as a day head. The VIP cabin is fore and has a large, centrally placed bed, a dressing table, his and hers storage and an en-suite with a walk-in shower. All cabins and bathrooms enjoy excellent light and views through Pearl's signature hull windows.

Volvo IPS propulsion gives the Pearl 62 optimal performance and efficiency characteristics while joystick controls with dynamic positioning system and an integrated Garmin touch-screen display make helming and accessing all of the yacht's systems easy and intuitive.

The Pearl 62, with its sporty looks, top performance and four comfortable guest cabins (plus crew cabin or jet-ski garage) is unique in its size range and is sure to please owners who are looking for a yacht that is fun to use with friends and family, with or without crew. Industry leading Pearl's comprehensive 5 years warranty completes this unique offer on the market.

Pearl 95

Warwick, September 2018. Pearl Yachts is proud to reveal to the world its new flagship yacht, the Pearl 95. At 29.2-metres, the vessel marks the company's intention to move into the superyacht sector and with two units sold in the first half of 2018, the design is already proving a popular choice in its size sector. The launch of the Pearl 95 coincides with Pearl Yachts 20th anniversary year and the new yacht has become a symbol of the company's sterling reputation as Britain's fastest growing motor yacht manufacturers.

Distinctive design

With lines from the drawing boards of long-term Pearl collaborator Dixon Yacht Design, the Pearl 95 turns heads wherever she cruises. A semi-raised pilothouse merges seamlessly with the extensively glazed deep V hull in an aerodynamic and sporty silhouette. The sweeping curve of the top deck meets with the more linear shape of the main deck, its windows following the line of the hull with aggressive, modern edges. The long overhang of the steep bow is designed for speed and impeccable seakeeping whilst the stern platform maximises the connection to the sea. From the hull design through to the styling, engineering and interior space planning, the Dixon design team has strived to produce a yacht that really stands out from the crowd.

World-class interior

Continuing in her exclusive and highly successful collaboration with Pearl Yachts, international design star Kelly Hoppen has created a luxurious and impeccably planned interior on par with the exacting tastes of superyacht clients. In her design, Hoppen placed a strong emphasis on the flow from the outside in and ensured that the spaces breathe and feel unenclosed. The feedback of previous and current Pearl Yacht owners has been a strong influencer in the development of the 95 and the owner's cabin can be found forward on the saloon deck and will feature huge windows boasting unforgettable panoramic views over the bow. This cabin is accessed through an antechamber with dressing table and impressive stowage. The main deck saloon is vast with space for a huge L-shaped sofa and a dining table for eight. A unique design feature is the floor to ceiling fully glazed automatic patio doors abreast of the saloon which when open allow for an unrivalled connection to the outdoors. The Sie Matic galley, manufactured to the highest standards, is complimented by Gaggenau appliances and has access from the side deck allowing for separate and discreet crew access. A breakfast bar makes for the perfect informal setting in which to dine.

On the lower deck owners are given the option for either a four or five cabin layout, either a breath-taking full beam cabin with walk in wardrobe and large bathroom or two generously proportioned cabins, back to back across the beam with walk-in wardrobe and large bathroom in place of the two double cabins. Crew accommodation for four, in addition to a captain's cabin, is found towards the bow. The yacht offers reverse air-conditioning, a central vacuum system and Control 4 integrated audio and video system.

The Pearl 95 is offered with three alternative interior themes; Studio, Taupe and Luxury. Studio is characterised by calming earthy tones such as fawns, ivories and warmer greys. Taupe is paler in tone with stripes and rich browns, whilst Luxury has the feel of a chic modern apartment with highly polished dark wood surfaces and white fabrics. Clients can expect plenty of variety in materials and textures with highly considered contrasting tonalities. Both darker and lighter woods are used to add a sense of visual depth, whilst high-gloss, white lacquered ceilings provide reflection, adding to the sense of spaciousness. Known for her love of grey and neutral tones, each interior style contains Hoppen's unmistakable hall marks, ensuring decor schemes that are as timeless as they are elegant. Clients can be sure that onboard they will relax in interiors worthy of a five-star hotel. A list of Kelly Hoppen curated accessories such as table lights, vases, cushions and candles are also available to compliment the design.

Created for outdoor living

When it comes to exterior spaces, the Pearl 95 covers every base. Ideal for dining, the large area aft of the saloon on the main deck can seat eight comfortably. The vast flybridge features a Jacuzzi, extensive social seating areas and a sun pad as well as a dominant external steering position and access to the pilothouse featuring glass bridge with integrated navigation and vessel control systems. A flybridge bar with sink, BBQ, fridge and ice maker offers convenience for smooth entertaining. More sun pads and another seating area at the bow are sheltered from the sun by stylish awning. To the stern the jet ski and tender garage can be opened to reveal a beach club bar. A hydraulically operated bathing platform with fold down buttresses is perfect for sun loungers placed close to the water's edge. Teak decks and a hydraulic passerelle contribute to the yacht's feeling of outstanding quality.

Class beating performance

The Pearl 95 achieves a top speed of 28 knots and has a cruising range of 380 nautical miles thanks to its 2 x MTU 16V M96 2400hp engines. Caterpillar C32 1925hp and 2 x MTU 16V M96L 2600hp are also available. The deep V hull provides exceptional comfort and seakeeping under power.

Five-year warranty

The Pearl 95, as with all new Pearl Yachts, comes with a unique and comprehensive five-year warranty. With most new boat warranties running for only two years, this programme of support will provide Pearl Yacht owners with total peace of mind for a generous extra three year longer than is typically given.

Bill Dixon statement about Pearl 95: "Pearl Yachts are renowned for their combination of modern "sporty" styling, and extremely spacious interiors. With the 95 the challenge was to take that "sporty" ethos into a semi raised pilothouse design, with an innovative voluminous interior. The superstructure maximises glazing and introducing sweeping curves in the shearline maximises the connection with the sea. The 95 is feature rich, one unique one is the way the full with owners cabin, does not have the normal topside visual bulk, and even has seating and sunbathing sunk into the roof. Strategically located windows on three sides of this cabin make this an outstanding space. Another great feature is the transom with fold down platforms and a "beach club". Emphasis on storing the waterborne toys required by today's owners. From the hull design through the styling, engineering and interior space planning, my design team has strived to produce a design that really stands out from the crowd."
