Sun Odyssey 350 - The pure pleasure of cruising with family

by Jeanneau America 17 Dec 2023 22:19 PST

Following the tremendous success of the Sun Odyssey 349, launched in 2013 and having sold nearly 1,000 sailboats, Jeanneau proudly introduces its worthy successor: the Sun Odyssey 350.

The newest addition to the Sun Odyssey line boasts numerous attributes and optimised functions to win over fans of both cruising and performance.

With its distinctive new hull, a generous sail plan, an integrated bowsprit, and a harmonious, contemporary interior, the Sun Odyssey 350 promises innovation and sailing enjoyment with complete peace of mind.

This new sailboat will make its world premiere at the Dusseldorf Boat Show, from January 20th through the 28th, 2024.

In the highly competitive market of 35-foot sailboats, Jeanneau continues its mission to introduce everyone to the pleasures of the sea, with the launch of the Sun Odyssey 350.

Designed by the naval architecture firm of Lombard Yacht Design and the naval architecture and design agency Piaton Yacht Design, this sailboat perfectly embodies the brand's fundamentals: ease of use, performance, and peace of mind.

The Sun Odyssey 350 offers a unique sailing experience for enthusiasts and connoisseurs of coastal and offshore cruising sailboats equally adept at longdistance cruising and relaxing at anchor.

Client-inspired design ingenuity

Attentive to its customers' experience and having served them for over 65 years, Jeanneau has crafted the Sun Odyssey 350 to be a true sailing boat full of clever designs for serene, comfortable and enjoyable sailing!

Powerful and stable, this new chined hull features an inverted bow enhancing performance at every point of sail, while ensuring maximum stability with its twin rudders. An updated hull for a distinctive modern look.

The elongated, integrated bowsprit plays the dual role of carrying the anchor further forward and providing an excellent tack point for reaching and downwind sails (Code 0 and asymmetric spinnaker). This is a true advantage for efficiency and performance!

The Sun Odyssey 350 is tailored to suit your program and offers several different keel versions to meet the expectations of diverse owners: a deep draught (1.98 m), a shoal draught (1.49 m), or a swing-keel draught (1.26 m - 5.4 m).

The Sun Odyssey 350 is offered in a version with electric propulsion, available for sailing in sheltered waters.

A spacious, safe, and inviting deck plan

The Sun Odyssey 350 benefits from a carefully studied deck plan for secure sailing and for a simple, enjoyable life on board.

Featuring twin helms and optimized for easy movement from the companionway to the immense swim platform, the cockpit is both secure and voluminous making it an unparalleled space to make memories with friends and family.

On the Sun Odyssey 350, Jeanneau has integrated the revolutionary solution of walk around side decks for a fluid and safe movement on board. A flush deck for no more steps!

This deck plan contributes to more intuitive sail handling and preserves the cockpit, a true central island with a protective coaming.

The helmsperson also benefits from greater comfort and better forward visibility, due to the off-centred aft helms with twin steering wheels.

Handrails located on the coachroof ensure safe passage for your crew.

Without a backstay, the rigging features 30 degrees swept spreaders, thus enabling the helmsperson to sail while comfortably seated at one of the twin helms positioned in the aft corners of the boat.

With her spacious aft swim platform, the Sun Odyssey 350 beckons you to embark on a journey and create unforgettable moments.

As your ultimate sanctuary at anchor, this expansive area is perfect for swimming and indulging in marine activities.

Harmonious, comfortable interior layouts for family cruising

Offered in two versions, with two cabins + workshop or with three cabins, the Sun Odyssey 350 showcases a contemporary interior design and comprehensive comfort amenities.

The ambiance is inviting and thoughtfully arranged, characterized by gentle, rounded edges. Natural light bathes the interior space, courtesy of expansive windows in the hull and coachroof.

A wide three-step companionway facilitates swift, easy access to and from the interior space promoting hospitality and interaction with guests.

The L-shaped starboard galley is contemporary and extremely functional, offering numerous clever storage compartments.

In the port-side saloon, you will find an attractive chart table with comfortable bench seating. Alternatively, you can opt for a different layout with a daybed, for true relaxation.

Each cabin is efficiently designed, incorporating a storage locker and comfortable berths. Abundant natural light fills every cabin through numerous windows in the hull

She features a spacious shower and head compartment, which are separate in the two-cabin version.

"The Sun Odyssey 349 was a great success: sailors have always found that the boat worked and handled well. So, on the Sun Odyssey 350, we have sought to add a bit more volume while creating a seaworthy boat that is fast and enjoyable to sail. This new sailboat also gains in initial stability; she is stiffer than the Sun Odyssey 349. In summary, our objective was to manage to do better with more comfort!

The Sun Odyssey 350 has a greater sail area and is equipped with a square-top mainsail, which makes her fantastic in light winds. She is, without a doubt, the boat on the market with the greatest sail area and a light displacement, which yields strong performance. In just 5 knots of wind, she is a joy to sail!". Eric Levet, Marc Lombard Yacht Design Group

The Sun Odyssey 350 is unequivocally designed for owners who harbor a deep love for the sea and seek functional, pleasurable vessels to sail. This new high-performance sailboat is safe at every point of sail, procuring sensations of speed even in light winds. A warm and inviting atmosphere prevails on board, whether at sea or at anchor.

The Sun Odyssey 350 is the ideal sailboat to share the experience of cruising with family: happiness in its purest form!
