More images from the technical stopover by fourth placed skipper Anthony Marchand (FRA) who has completed his second technical stopover, who has now left Dunedin.

Kiwi photographer Chris Cameron was in Dunedin for the stopover and provided these images, along with others from Actual Ultim 3 as it approached Dunedin.

The stopover lasted 24 hours and Actual Ultim3 left the port on the bottom of the South Island at 1100hrs on Sunday Feb 11, NZT 2300hrs UTC on October 10th.

One of six competitors in the Arkéa Ultim Challenge, a non-stop round the world single handed race sailing 105ft foiling trimarans, Marchand and his support team elected to make repairs to the system which hoists and lowers his remaining foil. He removed the port foil in Cape Town after it was damaged. The starboard foil is the predominant foil for the expected wind direction for the rest of the course. He has 11,400nm to sail, and at last report as sailing at over 25kts.

One competitor has dropped out, and Marchand lies 4th overall, about 1,000 mile ahead of the fifth placed competitor. The race leader, Charles Caudrellier, has rounded Cape Horn and is now off the horn of Brazil, with less than 5,000nm to sail to the finish in Brest, France. The second placed competitor Armel Le Cléac'h rounded Cape Horn earlier today.
