Revolutionizing boat transport: The innovative SEFABO self-driving boat trailer sets new standards

The future of boat transport is here! C-Pack, a successful German engineering company, unveils a groundbreaking boat trailer that will revolutionize the way boats are moved.

All boat owners with a plot of land near the water are familiar with this: despite the water being right on our doorstep, launching the boat is still a laborious affair: laboriously coupling the boat trailer to the towbar and driving to the nearest suitable ramp to put the boat in the water. Parking the car with a trailer. Then, do everything all over again when you want to go home. It's virtually impossible for one person to do alone and often too time-consuming for a short boat trip. Leaving the boat in the water is also not an alternative, as the boat is not safe and is subject to heavy contamination from mussels, algae and birds.

Jörg Czepluch, owner of the world's leading manufacturer of high-tech net packing machines, a mechanical engineer and himself a passionate boat owner, has created a perfect solution to this problem: he has developed a practical, everyday solution that allows him to drive his boat from his own property across the beach directly into the nearby sea.

A lot of development work was invested by the C-Pack team, prototypes were built, and tests were carried out in all weathers. Many things have been refined and optimized over the years. And so the SEFABO, the first self-driving boat trailer, was born. Now is the right time to bring this mature and reliable product to the market.

A unique concept for anyone who has a plot of land near the water.

The SEFABO is an extraordinary trailer that enables boat owners to easily drive their boats from their own property to the shore and directly into the water - without external towing vehicles or the time-consuming and energy-draining task of moving a conventional trailer.

Saving time and effort in one fell swoop.

With the SEFABO, a boat owner can easily and quickly launch their boat into the water. This innovation saves time and greatly simplifies the process of deploying the boat.

The SEFABO is controlled by an innovative hydraulic control system, similar to that used on tracked or caterpillar vehicles. As a result, the trailer offers unsurpassed maneuverability, enabling the user to steer the trailer and boat with precision. Whether on level ground or through demanding terrain. Even in the smallest of spaces, the boat can be moved very accurately or rotated 360 degrees on the spot thanks to the caterpillar drive.

The new SEFABO self-driving boat trailer is available in three sizes and is therefore designed for all boats weighing from 1.5 to 3.5 tonnes. In the configurator on the manufacturer's website, customers can easily put together the right model for them.

Enough power to get things moving.

The robust motor has enough power to move the trailer and boat effortlessly, even on steep inclines. The VANGUARD engine of the 16.0 hp V-Twin series, which is installed as standard, offers low exhaust emissions and maximum running comfort with optimum engine cooling.

"We are working on further developments to further improve the customer experience and to be able to respond even better to the individual wishes of our boat owners," says Jörg Czepluch. "In the future, we will also be offering an electrically operated SEFABO and a trailer version for anyone who does not have a plot of land on the water. This means that even without a marina or ramp, these customers can launch their boat anywhere."

Czepluch calls its SEFABO the first "all-terrain trailer" on the market. Thanks to its caterpillar drive, the trailer can overcome almost any terrain: whether stony terrain, sandy beaches, rocky coastal sections, branches, seaweed or tall grass - nothing can stop this powerful boat trailer.

Even when the going gets tough: the boat is securely fixed and cushioned on strong straps during transportation. As a result, the movements are not transferred to the sensitive boat hull. With this trailer, transporting a boat becomes an effortless and stress-free experience.

"We are proud to be launching this innovative boat trailer on the market and ushering in a new era in boat transportation," says Jörg Czepluch. "Our aim is to offer boat owners a solution that is not only efficient and reliable, but also makes boating more fun. Thanks to its ease of use, you can also spontaneously launch your boat for a quick trip. This also makes the SEFABO suitable for rescue services that have to lower boats into the water in inaccessible places. The SEFABO can then be transported on a trailer."

Your own property - a safe harbor

With the SEFABO, your valuable boat can always be kept safely parked on land, especially in regions without a slipway or marina nearby. The SEFABO thus creates its own safe harbor on land, without the need for its own jetty, which often requires maintenance and repair. "This enables cost-efficient and uncomplicated boat storage on land, which minimizes maintenance costs," Czepluch continues.

The SEFABO is currently available in sizes 1.5, 2.5 or 3.5 tons (permissible total weight) and, therefore, covers most commercially available boats for private use. Each trailer is made by hand in Germany and can be specially adapted to individual customer requirements.

The new boat trailer is now available and promises a new dimension of boat movement.
