Supported by the Barcelona Nautical Capital Foundation, this project aims to highlight Catalonia's technological advancements and drive the decarbonization of the nautical sector.
The foundation aims to extend the decarbonization and electrification initiative to the entire maritime industry, beginning with yachts. Catalonia has a head start in this process, as it is already a leader in decarbonization and recharging systems for the automotive sector. To leverage this, the plan seeks to explore how technologies from the automotive field can be adapted for use in the marine industry.
