Helly Hansen Chester Race Week was the biggest in a decade, with a record number of women skippers and competitive conditions that delivered.

For the first several days of the event the wind came in mid-afternoon and for the final day, a beautiful breeze built to 10 plus knots from the southwest.

On-water chair, Dan Conrod comments, "Overall a great week - the wind was slow to fill in, but it arrived on day four on time. There was lots of competitive sailing, with plenty of variation in the top three finishers across fleets. The event concludes delivering the conditions that have made this event so iconic."
