As wingfoiling matures into different disciplines, Freeride, Downwind, Freestyle, Surf, and Race, so too does the North 2025 Wingfoil collection.

First off the blocks is the high-speed performance Mode Pro wing, featuring North's groundbreaking ShiftLock modular track mounting system. Riders can now pair the Mode Pro with a ShiftLock Boom to unlock a whole new bag of tricks. (Carbon boom or handles are sold separately)

North Brand Director Mike Raper says the Mode Pro is engineered for speed: "The Mode Pro is incredibly controllable in high wind - the stiffness of the UD-Carbon reinforced N-Weave45 airframe and Matrix canopy translates into forward momentum and speed; with explosive Big Air boosting and hangtime. This is in contrast to the Nova Pro, where the hybrid wingtips are designed to twist and release excess power for more forgiving landings and freestyle performance, while the Nova's wide wind range is more skewed toward the lower end."

Complementing the Mode Pro's fast freeride and boost capacity is the newly refined Seek Wing Foil Board. To improve speed and acceleration, North has increased the length, decreased the width and reduced the overall weight of the board for more on-water efficiency and earlier lift onto foil.

The Swell claims the lead in the "surf with a wing" category. Re-engineered for cranking turns and riding waves with a wing, its shape refined for a cleaner, faster lift to foil, with a curved surf-style outline for optimal wave fit and deeper carves.

For 2025, North has introduced anti-deflection Carbon UDi Technology internally along the span of the Mode Pro LE for a faster, more direct response. Refined profile sections ensure performance in a wider wind range, while the new radial geometric panel layout with load diffusers distributes tension in defined load directions across the canopy, improving aerodynamic flow.

North's stiffest, lightest and most durable wing provides maximum wind range and shape-hold in extreme conditions. Featuring N-Weave45 high tensile strength woven fiber with cross ply reinforcement and Matrix stretch-resistant canopy material. Now with the ShiftLock Modular Track Mounting System, so riders can choose carbon handles or boom.

Re-engineered for cranking turns and riding waves with a wing. The new surf-inspired Swell wingfoil shape is refined for a cleaner, faster lift to foil, with a curved surf-style outline for optimal wave fit and deeper carves. The Swell remains a crossover board for heavier riders for strapped prone, kite, wake, and tow-foiling in smaller sizes.
