Currently in production, the Outer Reef Adventure 780 is a state-of-the-art explorer yacht, featuring a unique hull design that maximizes onboard space. It boasts large deck areas for relaxation, a substantial explorer RIB, personal watercrafts, watersport toys, and ample storage for long-range voyages. The design reflects decades of expertise and customer insights, ensuring that the Adventure 780 upholds Outer Reef's signature standards of durability, performance, quality, and comfort.
The construction of Hull #1 is already in progress and will make its debut on the 2025 global yacht show circuit. Additional models are already in development, positioning Outer Reef Yachts as a leader in the explorer yacht market. Owners of the Adventure 780 can confidently navigate remote cruising grounds, equipped with the most capable steel hull platform available. Known for its exploration readiness, ease of repair, quiet cruising, and exceptional durability, the steel hull construction is a key feature of Dutch-built yachts, renowned for their reliability and longevity.
The choice to introduce the Adventure 780 underscores Outer Reef's response to growing demand for explorer yachts. This model is ideal for yachtsmen and women seeking unforgettable Mediterranean adventures or any other remote cruising destinations. Its combination of practicality and luxury offers a new level of exploration for discerning cruisers.
This launch marks a major milestone for Outer Reef Yachts as it expands into the fast displacement explorer yacht sector, continuing its tradition of delivering unmatched ocean capabilities, premium quality, and outstanding interior design.
Outer Reef Yachts, highly regarded for its durable FRP long-range motor yachts, now expands its offerings to include steel and aluminum vessels. These yachts are built for safety, reliability, and fuel efficiency, setting new benchmarks in the adventure yacht industry with their innovative fast-displacement Adventure series.
Jeff Druek, President and CEO of Outer Reef, stated, "We've seen a growing interest in adventure yachting, particularly among a younger generation of cruisers eager to explore remote and extraordinary destinations. Outer Reef owners have already embarked on remarkable journeys to places like Alaska, the Great Barrier Reef, the Galapagos Islands, Patagonia, Greenland, Iceland, and multiple passages around Cape Horn, the southernmost tip of Tierra del Fuego in Chile. This shift highlights a desire for unique, transformative experiences, and Outer Reef is committed to leading the way in these exciting new developments."
In stepping further into the adventure market, Outer Reef Yachts sought the finest Dutch craftsmanship to build the strongest, safest, and most reliable ocean-exploring yachts. Dutch shipbuilders are recognized worldwide for their superior quality, offering unparalleled levels of finish, engineering, and durability.
As recently announced, the merger between Outer Reef Yachts and the Dutch shipyard Lynx Yachts marks the beginning of a new chapter. The launch of the Adventure 780 will serve as the first milestone of this exciting collaboration.
