The Giorgio Armani Superyacht Regatta, an event organised by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda in partnership with title sponsor Giorgio Armani, will be held from 27th to 31st May 2025, moving the event that opens the superyacht racing season in the Mediterranean forward to the final week of May.

New eligibility requirements will also apply to the upcoming edition of the Giorgio Armani Superyacht Regatta. From 2025 the regatta will be open to yachts with a minimum length of 80 feet, in line with other events on the superyacht racing circuit.

Title sponsor Giorgio Armani adds to the vibrant regatta context a pop-up boutique featuring the Giorgio Armani Mare collection in Piazza Azzurra, and a gala dinner on the panoramic terrace at the YCCS, with a dedicated set up.

The close collaboration with Southern Wind Shipyard continues, with next year's event once again hosting the Southern Wind Rendezvous & Trophy — a friendly sail in company for the shipyard's owners. Each year, they gather in Porto Cervo to enjoy this exclusive occasion, marked by an atmosphere of elegance and camaraderie.

As a natural evolution of the event, in addition to the Superyacht Racing division, a new Corinthian Spirit division is planned for those seeking to participate with a cruising set up, making preparation of the yachts simpler and reducing the number of professional racers required on board.

The 2025 edition of the Giorgio Armani Superyacht Regatta also promises a raft of new initiatives ashore, welcoming Porto Cervo regulars and new participants with an updated format.

The official presentation of the Giorgio Armani Superyacht Regatta 2025, and all the events on the superyacht circuit, will take place at the Superyacht Racing Association Meeting scheduled for 18th November at METSTRADE in Amsterdam.

The Notice of Race and entry form will be available online soon. For further information please contact the YCCS Race Office:
