New Antares 9 - Beneteau reinvents the weekender of reference

by Beneteau 18 Dec 00:00 PST

The Antares 9 has been completely redesigned for 2025. To cap off 140 years of audacity, passion, transmission, and success, BENETEAU unveils the new Antares 9.

Contemporary and stylish, she continues the elegant tradition of this historic line. Designed for weekends of fun on the water, this boat is reinvented, integrating innovations and improvements from the largest models.

With her unique, distinctive design, this new model features an instantly recognizable silhouette. This model is the result of a subtle balance between performance and safety, between exterior space and interior volume.

A true ode to family cruising as well as marine activities with friends, this new model is synonymous with versatility and comfort.

This new version multiplies your opportunities to enjoy the sea, offering greater ease of handling and an inviting setting, at anchor and under way.

The new Antares 9 will be on display for her world premiere at the Dusseldorf Boat Show, from January 18th through the 26th, 2025, Hall 4 - Stand B19.

A resolutely refined design

The new Antares 9 draws attention. She features elongated, energetic lines for cruising with style. Inspired by the Antares 11 and 12, she displays an elegant silhouette enhanced by a stainless steel rubrail and long windows in the hull. The arc of the wheelhouse, a true characteristic of the line, traces a slightly stepped curve. This adjoins the long coachroof that shelters the cockpit, extending the boat's profile.

With her distinctly recognizable style, on any body of water, this new model perfectly embodies the Antares line.

Each living space aboard this new model has been revisited to offer quality and refinement, inviting you to extend your time on the water.

The cockpit upholstery is even more comfortable, and the backrests are more resistant. Lacquered furniture and walnut woodwork enhance the interior. Tufted upholstery creates a soft, soothing atmosphere.

In perfect keeping with the Antares 11 and 12, this new model boasts the codes and materials of these larger models.

The weekender, par excellence

The Antares 9 is truly an invitation to travel. Numerous innovations and optimized equipment reinforce the weekender character of this new model.

The modular aft cockpit is among the most spacious, with generous dimensions (1.70m by 2.40m). It features L-shaped bench seating that, with an additional seat, converts into a U-shaped saloon: an ideal configuration for welcoming numerous guests around the large table!

The cockpit bench seating also transforms into a sundeck, for moments relaxing in the sun.

The protective cockpit boasts an extended coachroof, providing shelter in all circumstances. The wide sliding glass door provides ease of movement between the interior and exterior, thus creating a vast living space.

The remarkable modular design concept of this new model invites interaction and conversation on outings at sea.

Comfort of life on board

The new Antares 9 features all the strengths of the line, making it an ideal boat for cruising with family and friends: versatile, comfortable, and refined.

The interior living space is cleverly laid out to offer a remarkable quality of life on board. With wide, wrap-around windows, the surprisingly bright interior is bathed in light.

Her contemporary galley, elegantly integrated into the wheelhouse, is equipped with an 80-litre refrigerator, of a gas stove or electric burners, an optional microwave, and copious storage.

The seat at the helm pivots to provide a 5th seat around the saloon table, for easy entertaining. The saloon is warm and inviting, for sharing relaxing, enjoyable moments.

The forward owner's cabin, with its queen-sized berth, is spacious and refined. With a breathtaking view of the sea through large windows, it features a large, tufted headboard, lacquered furniture, a large hanging locker, and atmospheric lighting.

An unprecedented level of comfort aboard a boat of this category promises sweet nights at sea. This model also features a guest cabin with a double berth and windows in the hull, as well as a shared head and shower compartment.

With a saloon that can be configured with an optional berth, this new model is truly a peaceful haven for a getaway of several days.

Each cruise is a custom-made adventure. Numerous options enable you to personalise the Antares 9: heating, air-conditioning, with the addition of a generator or accompanying lithium batteries, solar panels on the coachroof, an opening sunroof, storage space for a paddleboard...

The pleasure of serene cruising

Faithful to its heritage, the new Antares 9 is a seaworthy boat, able to cut through the waves, demonstrating excellent seakeeping and an impressive performance.

Equipped with a 500 HP outboard engine for maximum power, and with large fuel tanks, she boasts an autonomy of 130 nautical miles at cruising speed, to go the distance and for a long time.

Constructed by injection moulding, the hull is lighter and more resistant, offering increased rigidity for greater stability and improved cruising comfort, with fewer vibrations and less noise.

Her ergonomic helm station, equipped with an adjustable bolster seat, offers the captain a breathtaking view of the horizon and ideal handling, even while docking, with a side access to the wheelhouse. With this new model, each outing is a temptation.

Ease of movement and safety on board have also been carefully considered. The side door enables easy access on and off the boat, as well as easy access to the water, with the swim ladder.

The starboard sidedeck, wider and more recessed, features high handrails for safe and easy passage to the forward deck: for opening the anchor locker, accessing the dock, or enjoying a relaxing moment of sunbathing in comfort, with an adjustable backrest.

Each detail has been designed to facilitate movement about the boat and to ensure easy access to the water, and ultimately, to make outings more harmonious and serene.

Beneteau demonstrates, once again, its unequalled savoir-faire and unique expertise with the launch of this new model.

Whether you are seeking relaxation, adventure, or special moments to share, the new Antares 9 is a reference among weekenders, created with care to enhance each moment on the water.

A distinguished boat, designed for you to pursue all your marine passions with style.
