  • MYLIUS YACHTS enters the motor yacht market with the M47P, a high-performance model
  • Innovative design and exceptional comfort: the M47P makes its debut at boot Düsseldorf (Stand 5D20 - Hall 5)
After redefining the history of sailboat shipbuilding in just over a decade with highly successful semi-custom yachts that seamlessly blend Italian craftsmanship excellence with cutting-edge technologies, MYLIUS YACHTS makes its return to the motorboat segment and officially presents its latest model, the M47P, at boot Düsseldorf.

This new 15.40-meter powerboat, constructed using fiberglass infusion with epoxy resin and carbon reinforcements, was designed by Alberto Simeone— the shipyard's long-time designer. It stands out for its clean, muscular and streamlined contours, which not only convey a sense of lightness but also enhance its "racer" character, enabling it to reach speeds of up to 56 knots thanks to the four Mercury 500 R outboard engines. True to the meticulous attention to detail that defines every boat built by the Podenzano-based shipyard, under the stable leadership of the Gandini family, the M47P features several refined elements, including a teak deck and carbon hardtop-a unique design that evokes a wave rising from the deck.

Double-Step Hull Design

The M47P excels as both a high-performance tender and a fast cruiser, embodying a perfect balance of precision engineering, advanced materials, and cutting-edge technology to deliver adrenaline-pumping performance and outstanding sea-keeping abilities in all conditions.

Its V-shaped hull incorporates a "double-step" design that, thanks to the reduced wet surface area and enhanced lift, enables rapid planing and offers superior control and comfort at higher speeds. Its exceptional performance maintains an impressive level of comfort, vibration and pitching-free, remaining stable and perfectly dry even at speeds of up to 56 knots. This highlights the brilliance of a design that truly stands out in its segment. The choice of outboard motors also enables a clever and functional layout with spacious social areas both on deck and below: outdoors, guests can choose to dine in the comfortable cockpit, equipped with a carbon table, stove and refrigerators, or enjoy the ride on seats specifically designed for high speeds, which, once at anchor, transform into a large sunbathing area. Upon request, the cockpit can be enclosed with custom covers, allowing the vessel to be used even during the winter months. It is also possible to order fold-down side panels that convert into convenient beach platforms, making it easier to access the water.

Customizable Interior for Four Guests

Inside, making the most of the 14.65-meter hull length and 4.28-meter beam, Simeone has designed two comfortable cabins for four guests. The standard layout features a forward owner's cabin with a king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom with a separate shower, wardrobes and ample storage space. The aft cabin for the guests, accessed from the cockpit, offers two single beds and a private bathroom. Alternatively, a layout with the owner's cabin positioned aft is also available. Clients can select from a wide range of colors, materials, and finishes, including teak laminates, light or natural oak, lacquered and carbon look and eco-leather or various fabric textures for the upholstery. Customization extends to the hull color and additional fabric options are available from the shipyard, including prestigious choices like Loro Piana or Maria Flora.

The heart of the M47P is its cutting-edge command console, featuring ergonomic Besenzoni seats (customizable in color and stitching) and two 19" Garmin displays integrated with the Empirebus input/output system, allowing for full monitoring of all systems, instruments and key utilities. In addition to the steering wheel and throttle with integrated display, there is also a joystick to facilitate docking maneuvers. From the helm you can control the autopilot, windshield wipers, retractable telescopic anchor at the bow and the Garmin-linked infotainment system, which offers four distinct audio zones: the owner's cabin, guest cabin, helm area and aft deck.

Optional features include the Seakeeper 6 stabilizer, a 16,000 BTU central chiller air conditioning system with dedicated fan coils for each cabin and a Starlink repeater that can be installed on the hardtop. Designed with meticulous attention to detail for maximum comfort, the M47P also offers generous storage space, including a large bow locker for fenders and equipment, as well as an ample aft garage for storing water toys.

A Project that Embodies the Vision of Mylius Yachts

Created to meet the growing global demand for powerboats, particularly from the USA, this powerboat reflects the same philosophy that has established MYLIUS YACHTS as a leader in the 50 to 80-foot sailing yacht market. This philosophy centers on a commitment to excellence, distinctive style, customization and an unwavering focus on the customer, all while seamlessly blending craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology to build boats that are not only beautiful and detail-oriented but also fast and exceptionally reliable.

Built in-house by the skilled technicians, ship's carpenters and artisans at the Podenzano shipyard, the "power" line from MYLIUS YACHTS includes the MY62, a monohull designed by Giovanni Ceccarelli, with interiors by Aldo Parisotto of the Parisotto + Formenton Studio. Featuring a variable-angle, deep-V hull, the MY62 can navigate in displacement mode and reach a top speed of 35 knots, powered by twin Volvo IPS 1350 engines. It stands out as a unique offering in its sector, combining versatility, performance and elegance.

"We are extremely pleased to have embarked on this journey and to have entered the motor yacht market with these two product lines," says Valentina Gandini, CEO of MYLIUS YACHTS. "Though distinct in style and intended use, the M47P and MY62 faithfully reflect our approach and maintain the shipyard's signature family feeling. Designed for different types of owners and featuring well-defined, recognizable stylistic elements, both models resonate with market preferences, and we've already received fantastic feedback. For instance, the M47P has already been produced in two units, with four more in the pipeline, putting us on track to produce 12 vessels per year. In contrast to our sailing yachts, which remain the company's core business with their bespoke style, the motor yacht line carries a more industrial feel. We could think of it as the shipyard's prêt-à-porter collection."

In 2025, MYLIUS YACHTS enters a new era, with significant recapitalization of the company that will support the ongoing optimization of production processes and the reorganization of its sales network. Giovanni Manni joins the team as General Manager, while Valentina Gandini, in her role as CEO, will also take on the role of Sales Manager.
