boot Düsseldorf inspires visitors with its range of offers. The water sports community celebrated a strong weekend in 16 exhibition halls. Whether surfing, diving, sailing, paddling or e-gaming, fun was the order of the day everywhere.
While top international stars of the surfing scene fought it out in the contests in the surfing hall, diving beginners got to know the underwater world in the try-out pool in the Dive Center or practised their first sailing manoeuvres at the boot Sailing School. Many people found out about dream destinations for holidays on or by the water at the Destination Seaside in Hall 13. Visitors were impressed by the Superboat Hall 5 and the Luxury Yacht Hall 6 with their comprehensive range of boat premieres. Many of the futuristic yachts were ceremoniously unveiled and presented to the public for the first time over the weekend.
"This density of premieres is unique worldwide at a water sports fair. The international global players in the industry use boot Düsseldorf for the market launch of their innovations for the coming water sports season. They appreciate the high-caliber audience in our exhibition halls and know that they have a high buyer potential in Düsseldorf. The Flagship Night, traditionally held on the first Saturday of the fair, with the presentation of the best yachts and motorboats of the year, also impressively supports the outstanding position of boot in the international market," explains boot Director Petros Michelidakis. At the Flagship Night, the joint maritime get-together of Delius Klasing Verlag (Germany) and boot Düsseldorf, the 'European Yacht of the Year 2025' (EYOTY) and 'European Powerboat of the Year 2025' (EPOTY) awards will be presented for sailing yachts and motorboats. In addition, the American Cole Brauer was honored with the 'SEAMASTER Award' for her solo and non-stop circumnavigation of the globe.
A total of around 55,000 visitors from 89 countries headed for the Düsseldorf home port of boot on Saturday and Sunday.
The trade fair is open until Sunday, 26 January. Admission tickets cost just €19.00 online at boot.club and are valid for two days at the trade fair. From Monday to Friday, boot online also offers a low-priced afternoon ticket for €12.00, valid from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. All tickets can be booked at www.boot.com.
In addition to the numerous innovations and technical highlights of the exhibitors, boot scores with its attractive program on the stages of the nine themed worlds. Detailed information is available at www.boot.com/en/Visit/boot_Themed_Areas/Overview_boot_Themed_Areas.
The world's largest yacht and water sports fair
With more than 200,000 visitors from over 100 countries and 1,500 exhibitors on 220,000 square meters in Halls 1 to 17, boot Düsseldorf from 18 to 26 January 2025 is the world's largest yacht and water sports fair. Both sailors and motor boaters will find a wide variety of boats, dinghies, superboats or luxury yachts.
The popular water sports of diving, surfing, kite surfing, stand up paddling, skimboarding or canoeing are available at boot in all facets and with the appropriate equipment. Attractive stage programs with the stars of the scene, the latest trends and a high-caliber mix of workshops and hands-on activities, both for leisure sports enthusiasts and experts, make the fair unique worldwide.
But marine conservation and innovative, sustainable technologies are also in focus at boot 2025. In cooperation with the European Boating Industry (EBI), the blue innovation dock will offer a unique dialogue format with political, economic, technological and media expertise in Hall 10. In addition, two lighthouses for ocean protection will again be on board: The prestigious "ocean tribute" award with partners Prince Albert II. Foundation and German Ocean Foundation as well as the "love your ocean" campaign with its stand in Hall 11.
