5-11 January 2025
The 39th Ronstan Impulse Australian Championships were jointly hosted by Darling Point Sailing Squadron and Oxley Sailing Club, on Waterloo Bay Brisbane, between the 5th and 11th of January 2025.
A solid fleet of 39 boats took part in the regatta which was contested mostly in light conditions. The regatta was scheduled for 10 heats, however only 8 were contested, due to lack of wind and storms on the final day of sailing.
The event was generously sponsored by Ronstan, Marine Outlet and MD spars and fittings.
Class newcomer, Mark Bloom from Darling Point Sailing Squadron, became only the second Queenslander to win an Impulse National Championship, in his first major regatta in the class.
