The Ronstan Junior Foiling Cup™, a revolutionary new sailing series designed to inspire junior sailors aged 10-16, is coming to Victoria, Australia!
The event will be held on the crystal-clear flat waters of McCrae Yacht Club on Mornington Peninsula on March 1st-2nd, 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity for young sailors to compete in fun and exciting races, develop their skills, and experience the thrill of foiling boats. All junior sailors aged 10-16 from any class or club in Victoria are invited to participate in two days of round robin racing.

Do you have what it takes to be crowned the VIC Ronstan Junior Foiling Champion?
The inaugural event at Bayview Yacht Racing Association in NSW, was a resounding success, with competitors coming from over 1000km to take part. Sailors came from a range of classes like Optimist, Open-Skiff, F11 and 13' Skiffs, and delivered some awesome racing with none of the top 6 finalists having ever foiled before, foiling across the start and finish line at high speed! The average age was 13 years old, 42% were females, and various weights from 30-70kgs!
The Nikki foiling dinghy has been selected as the ideal craft for this competition as it is small, manageable and easy for junior sailors to learn on, while being versatile, affordable and safe. With a planing hull, wings and foils, it is certainly exciting to sail and provides the full experience and thrill of both planing and foiling.
