The Yacht Sales Co. is delighted to be the major sponsor of the famous RNZYS Squadron Weekend.
Held on New Zealand's Kawau Island from 14-16 February, this hugely popular event is a highlight of the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron 's social calendar and comprises competitive racing and cruising events amid an unforgettable social schedule.
Hailed "the biggest party of the year", the Squadron Weekend kicks off on Friday 14 February with Race #2 of the Commodore's Cup series - The Yacht Sales Co. Night Race to Kawau. Participants are free to race, cruise or rally their way to Kawau Island before resetting their sails for the following day's action.
On Saturday 15 February, Race #3 - The Yacht Sales Co. Round Kawau Race - will see more on-water action before the fun spills back to shore for the highly anticipated pirate-themed Kawau Island Party with live music, prize-giving and celebrations into the night.
