The construction of the first Sirena Superyachts 42-meter model is well under way. The Turkish shipyard has reported that the hull and superstructure have been joined, and work on the project is progressing according to plan. The company plans to launch its new flagship, the Sirena 42M, in 2026.

  • Hull and superstructure joined at the shipyard
  • Sirena's 42M superyacht is designed by Luca Vallebona (exterior and interior layouts) and Hot Lab (interior design)
  • Van Oossanen is responsible for naval architecture

The vessel was designed by Luca Vallebona (exterior and interior layouts) and Hot Lab (interior design), part of The Viken Group, while Van Oossanen was responsible for the naval architecture. The Sirena 42M boasts open entertaining areas, spacious external relaxation zones, a distinctive master cabin with a private patio, and a vast beach club with drop-down bulwarks.

Elegant custom superyacht

The layout of the 42-meter Sirena Superyachts model can be highly customized to suit the owner's needs. Options include placing the owner's suite on either the main or upper deck, which in turn allows for a dedicated dining area in the saloon or a more casual setting, as well as the creation of a guest area in the bow for fine dining or pure relaxation.

Once the sliding door at the bow of the owner's cabin is opened, the interior and exterior blend seamlessly. The patio, featuring elements such as a pergola, an optional pool, and an organically shaped staircase leading to the upper deck, transforms this secluded, unexpected, and sunlit space into an integral part of the interior design. As a result, the forward cabin extends its outdoor area, creating a unique feature in today's semi-custom market.

The main deck's interior is anchored by an aft saloon that flows almost seamlessly into the aft pool, situated a few steps lower. Large windows enhance the connection with the outdoors, while the minimal use of lateral pillars ensures an uninterrupted panoramic view.

The lower deck houses four guest cabins, including two VIP cabins with transverse beds. A wardrobe-integrated partition maximizes space efficiency, while en-suite bathrooms provide separation from the technical areas aft, such as the garage and engine room, ensuring superior sound insulation. The interior design skillfully combines curved and rectilinear elements, using large fillets and dynamic walls to maintain a balance between clarity and distinctive style.

The version with an extended living area features an aft saloon dedicated entirely to lounging, along with two highly customizable spaces. The first, forward of the stairs on the starboard side, is an intimate setting that can serve as a game room, sitting area, or studio. The forward section is designed as a comfortable and inviting dining area. Once again, natural light and direct outdoor access, provided by the adjacent patio, elevate this design, enhancing both atmosphere and functionality.

Nordic blends Mediterranean

The Sirena 42M's décor is fresh, elegant, and innovative. It blends a clever mix of linear and curved geometries, drawing on a palette of natural, warm materials contrasted with cool, luxurious surfaces. The design language combines richly textured fabrics with an abundance of greenery.

The chosen materials range from natural beech and oak to cotton and chenille for the sofas, with metal in a titanium effect used for the deckhead panels. The result is a light, desaturated color palette that enhances and amplifies the sun's rays that flood every space.

The style seamlessly merges Nordic design with a softer, more relaxed Mediterranean ambiance. Ultimately, the interior reflects the essence of the entire yacht: a floating dream home that is adaptable, meticulously designed, refined but not ostentatious, technically proficient, and effortlessly elegant.
