Support continues for a third consecutive year, with a full calendar ahead and Nationals a highlight event as part of the Royal Thames Yacht Club 250th regatta.

The UK J/70 Class is delighted to announce Tideway Wealth Management as a returning sponsor for the 2025 season. This marks the third consecutive year of support from Tideway, reinforcing their commitment to one of the UK's most active and competitive keelboat classes.

This year's UK National Championship will be a standout event, taking place as part of the Thames 250th Regatta- a major celebration hosted by the Royal Thames Yacht Club. Alongside top-level racing, the regatta will feature a wide range of onshore festivities.

As part of the celebrations, Tideway will host a Class Dinner at the Squadron on Friday evening, with significantly discounted tickets available for competitors thanks to their support. The dinner promises to be a key social moment in the season, building on the success of previous years.

"It's fantastic to have Tideway onboard again this year, and we're looking forward to another great evening at the Squadron thanks to them," said Ian Poynton, UK J/70 Class Captain. "It's important to the class that we have these social moments, bringing everyone together."

The 2025 Nationals is a non-discardable event in the UK Grand Slam Series, the results of which will determine which teams from the UK qualify for the 2026 J/70 World Championship in Cascais. Held this side of the Atlantic, Cascais is expected to be a popular and accessible Worlds for British teams, with its epic conditions and strong international turnout.

Tideway's support of the UK J/70 Class sits alongside their wider commitment to sailing in the UK, which includes ongoing partnerships with the ILCA and Firefly classes.

The UK J/70 Class looks forward to another competitive season and is proud to continue working with Tideway to support both performance on the water and community off it.
