The RS Class Association is thrilled to announce that RS Sailing Store will be the official chandlery partner for the noughty and RS Vareo class National Championships 2025.

This collaboration builds on the strong, long-standing relationship between RS Sailing and the RS Class Associations, underscoring their shared commitment to supporting the RS classes and their communities. Together, they aim to elevate the championship experience for all sailors and encourage greater participation across the RS100, RS200, RS300, RS400, RS500, RS600, RS700, RS800 and RS Vareo classes. The announcement follows a recent initiative by the RS Sailing Store, which offered RS Class Association members a 15% discount on new sails when registering for their Nationals ahead of the early entry deadline.

The RS Sailing Store will provide valuable voucher prizes for each class, as well as event support for the Noble Marine RS200 Nationals at South Caernarvonshire Yacht Club and RS400 Eurocup at the Royal North of Ireland Yacht Club and the offer of a spares package for the Noble Marine RS100/500/600 Nationals at Mounts Bay, RS300 Nationals at South Caernarvonshire Yacht Club and RS700/800 Nationals at Eastbourne Sovereign SC.

Sally Campbell, RS Class Association Secretary said: "We are very happy to work with the RS Sailing Store, the obvious and straightforward place for our sailors to go to for parts for their RS boats; we know that many love the simple diagrams that help make the ordering process easy, even if they don't know the precise name or specification of the part they need.

Breaking something at the Nationals can be traumatic, so the spares service which aims to help get boats back on the water as soon as possible is invaluable. The RS Sailing Store keep records of what has been used in recent years, so they know which parts are likely to be needed and plan what they bring from these."

Andy Kilburn from RS Sailing Store, commented: "We're incredibly proud to support the vibrant 00s classes — they really are at the heart of the RS Sailing community. These fleets represent the spirit, energy, and passion that make RS Sailing so special, and it's a privilege to play a part in helping them thrive. The 00s classes carry a rich heritage within the brand, having been part of RS Sailing's journey from the early days, and they continue to inspire new generations of sailors."

The UK Nationals season starts with the Noble Marine RS Vareo Nationals, at the popular Lymington Dinghy Regatta 19-20 July, followed by the Noble Marine RS200 Nationals at SCYC, 4-8 August. With 100+ entries anticipated this is expected to be as closely fought and as vibrant as ever.

This year the Noble Marine RS400 Eurocup and UK/Irish Nationals returns to the prestigious Royal North of Ireland Yacht Club, 4-8 August, attracting some of the best sailors from the UK and Ireland, including Olympians, but also hugely welcoming and inclusive at any level.

In September it's the turn of the RS300 fleet to sail at SCYC, Abersoch, whilst the RS700 and RS800 fleets will travel to Eastbourne Sovereign Sailing Club, a venue very much enjoyed by the RS100/RS300 and RS600 fleets in 2024.

Last, but by no means least, the legendary Mounts Bay Sailing Club will host the Noble Marine RS100, RS500 and RS600 Nationals Championships from 25-28 September.

What a cracking set of venues!
