Following the LOXO 32 and the LOXO 40 launched last summer, French manufacturer Pogo Structures is expanding its powerboat range with the launch of the LOXO 30 OPEN.

Pogo Structures introduces a new-generation 9-metre open hull that addresses today's challenges of performance, energy efficiency and durability. Designed for both maritime professionals and discerning boaters, the LOXO 30 OPEN combines efficiency, comfort and versatility.

An innovative design for lasting performance

The LOXO 30 OPEN's hull was developed by Pogo Structures' engineering team to deliver optimal performance under real operating conditions, between 15 and 20 knots.

The LOXO 30 OPEN features vacuum-infused composite sandwich construction, combining fibreglass, polyester and foam core. This technology produces a structure that is exceptionally light, rigid and resistant to fatigue and the stresses of the marine environment, ensuring lasting performance.

A concrete response to economic and environmental challenges

Thanks to its lightweight build and hybrid hull, which requires extremely little power to plane, the LOXO 30 OPEN can reduce fuel consumption by up to 40% compared with comparable vessels. This optimisation translates directly into lower operating costs, greater range and a reduced environmental footprint.

The platform is also particularly well suited to electric or hybrid propulsion systems, a major asset in a context of evolving regulations and the maritime sector's energy transition.

"With the LOXO 30 OPEN, our goal was to design an efficient powerboat capable of meeting today's market needs while anticipating tomorrow's developments. We set out to bring together low fuel consumption, robustness and versatility in a single boat", explains Paul Bouroullec, co-CEO of the company.

A versatile and customisable maritime platform

Beyond its nautical performance, the LOXO 30 OPEN was designed by Pogo Structures' engineering team as a true multi-mission platform. Its open deck and modular architecture allow the boat's layout to be adapted to each user's specific needs. Passenger transport, diving, maritime surveillance, harbour operations, professional fishing, sailing clubs or high-end leisure: every configuration can be customised to precisely meet the operator's operational requirements.

This bespoke approach allows professionals to have a boat perfectly tailored to their activity, while benefiting from a single, proven and scalable technical base.

"We see that today's professionals are looking for boats that can adapt to their work, rather than the other way around. The LOXO 30 OPEN was designed from the outset to incorporate this customisation capability and to evolve alongside changing uses throughout its lifetime.", explains Tanguy Bouroullec, co-CEO of the company.

Comfort and safety in all conditions

The LOXO 30 OPEN's hull was developed to offer an optimal balance between comfort, stability and safety. Its fine bow entries promote a smooth and comfortable passage through the water, while its buoyant stern and small keel ensure excellent course-keeping and remarkable stability, both under way and at anchor.

Even with twelve passengers and a skipper on board, the boat maintains a wholesome, predictable and reassuring sea behaviour. Its design also incorporates several structural features designed to enhance safety, including watertight bulkheads and buoyancy volumes, ensuring enhanced protection for crew and passengers.

These qualities make it both a high-performance work tool and a particularly enjoyable leisure boat.

One hull, multiple uses

Trailerable thanks to its 2.55-metre beam, the LOXO 30 OPEN meets the expectations of both professionals and discerning boaters alike. It embodies LOXO's vision: to offer vessels that are leaner, more durable and smarter, capable of adapting to a wide range of uses without compromising on performance.

The first LOXO 30 Open under construction

Currently in its final engineering phase, the LOXO 30 OPEN is entering a new stage of development with tooling and mould production now under way. The first unit is scheduled for launch in January 2027.

This first boat will be operated by Bleu Evasion, a company specialising in day-trip passenger transport in the Calanques National Park near Marseille — a particularly demanding environment that requires energy efficiency, comfortable sea-keeping and high operational reliability. This first deployment under real operating conditions will be a key milestone in the roll-out of the LOXO 30 OPEN and will concretely demonstrate its ability to meet the needs of professionals.

Key Specifications:

  • Length: 9 metres
  • Beam: 2.55 metres
  • Vacuum-infused composite sandwich construction
  • Capacity: up to 13 persons
  • Propulsion: Outboard thermal (150 hp) and electric
